Love it, but will probably show a lot of hard water stains.

We'd order it in white which I think will reduce the water stain problem. More interested in feedback on the design.

With the lower ledge, you will not be able to fill the big sink very high for large item soaking.

We have a black granite sink with no hard water or other issues.

How high is the wall between the large and small side? I'm thinking that if you wanted to soak pots, but then still have a small area to work in, then it might not be useful, especially since the small side doesn't have a drain.

I wanted a large sink like this when we just built our house, but the builder didn't offer something with a 70/30 split kind of like the one you posted. We decided on a farmhouse sink instead. Everyone comments how they love it and my pots fit off to the side well enough that there is plenty of space to work in without getting in the way of working on the drain side of the sink. There is in a special cleaner for the sink we use that gets stains out. It's made of cast iron.

The wall is about 3" tall

We've installed a Blanco Silgranit sink in three different different kitchens, two white and one in cafe brown. We're huge fans and will likely do it again in the next project. The dark color can be easily maintained wiping it down with mineral oil every few months. The Silgranit white is like anything else that's white ... requires rinsing dark fluids (coffee, coke, wine) to avoid staining. Barkeeper's Friend keeps it sparkling.

We prefer the 70/30 style with two drains, using the small side for garbage disposal. It provides maximum flexibility in how you use your sink.

I would want a drain on both sides myself. I also like stainless sinks the best for resale and for everyday use but that's just me.This one is one of my favs.

My designer indicated that this sink model is designed so that the right side can be used to hold a colander that is sold as an accessory. Fruits and veggies in the colander can be rinsed and the water flows through the little separator wall notch into the main sink. Even though we go through tons of fruits and veggies, my husband said, "Gimmick." We still prefer the super single bowl.

If you think you will use it and find the set up practical AND attractive, then go for it.

I've used that one in a kitchen project & the homeowner loves it. It's for people who mostly want a single sink, do a lot of DW & little hand washing. There are accessories available.

If you are a big cook -- especially veggies -- look at the kohler stages sink. It is awesome.

I have the dark gray siligrant with my quartzite( grays, creams and whites) and I love it. But I have the huge deep rectangle. Love the simplicity and size. I myself prefer that to the 2- sided curving one.

I have no stains at all. Nothing shows- wipes clean - in the dark gray.
