My husband and I recently purchased a 1950's pier and beam that we will be remodeling in the next few months. While we have the inside pretty much mapped out, we are stumped on what to do with the exterior. The style we will be going for is clean, modern, sleek, light. We are going to leave the asbestos (gasp!) siding for now, as it's in great shape and removing it and replacing it at this point would take a huge chunk out of our budget. So that will stay and it will be white. The shutters and screens will go, and we are getting new windows for the whole house. Any suggestions on trim color and front door? I like the idea of a Crestview door, one of the styles with more glass. I want the house to look crisp and clean from the curb. Nothing too warm and traditional or too bold and colorful.

Also, the landscaping will get a major overhaul. Any and all suggestions are appreciated! Thanks.
