I have the option to put my outdoor kitchen in my covered lanai (18x11) with a hood OR outside by the pool where the smoke can just rise. I'm afraid of having a view of an outdoor kitchen when I look from the front door out to the lanai. Most homes have a view of the pool and seating area. Also, are hoods and venting stall expensive? Do they really work or does smoke just end up in the lanai anyways. Can a TV be mounted near it without damage?
