Kitchen Paint Color Suggestions...

I am a renter, and my landlord is allowing us to paint this house (circa 1920). The kitchen is the most difficult to figure out because the landlord wants to keep the original ceramic tile floors. Although they are beautiful in their own way, I have absolutely no idea what to paint the walls. I would prefer a yellow neutral, but the my thoughts on the rest of the house are creamy beiges and dusty aquas/mints. Please help!

I think if you go monochromatic with a wallpaper it will work.

Go a soft gray get samples. Anything but red, would improve this room. Floors are fine. Work around it.

Hi! I think a yellow color would look very nice! Before purchasing paint, I would purchase an accent item and place it in the kitchen to see how you like certain colors in the room. Then, once you find one that you like, I would take the item to have the paint matched. Here are a few items that may work for you:

Benjamin Moore Windham Cream is my favorite yellow. Though it's called a cream, it reads as a beautiful, warm, soft yellow. If you're looking for pale yellow, swatches labeled "yellow" often appear harsh on the wall.

Post your issues and pics with a floorplan that includes lengths of the walls and placement of doors, openings and windows and we all help as time permits :)

A light gray would look good. Think about painting the ceiling the same color or a darker color since it is so high. Use matte finish on the walls. It is washable. Flat on the ceiling.
