very pretty color blue, the bedding is also pretty. Yes I think that the picture works, the frame is dark like the bed and table on left side. I think that this a very pretty room.

I like what you've done a lot. I also agree that the art works well in this space. I think what is missing is some height in the room. The art on the wall will help that, but I'd also think about raising that curtain rod a bit and putting some drapes up. (white perhaps?) It would be great to see something on the wall over the headboard as well.

I think that the curtains should be light like the begging, can you get some like the comforter. The table should have a shade of blue like the comforter or white with some blue in it, or maybe for a pop of color yellow and white, and blue. Maybe a floral.

Great room! For the drapes it might look nice to use a very simple patterned curtain to add some visual interest/texture to the room. Also, I would use the color of the flowers in the print, can't quite tell but it looks like a mauve, to add pops of color in the accessories. You could do a throw on the bed, extra pillows and accessories on the bed side tables in the accent color.

I would like to see a Belgian Linen in a flax color like you see at Restoration Hardware or a creamy white silk with the rod hung halfway between the ceiling and the top of the windows to make the ceiling appear higher. I also suggest two or three prints above the bed in an accent color like a fresh green to keep this room from being too monochromatic. See this as an inspiration photo. Still traditional but a warmer feel.
