Our boys' room has a a very large sloping ceiling that is almost the entire height of the wall. It is such wasted wall space that I would like to use for book shelves or something. Any suggestions? Have searched the site for sloping ceiling uses and haven't found much w/regards to actually USING that sloping ceiling.

We had a room like that years ago for our daughter and we were going to build a loft area for her to have her books there and so on with a full railing for safety and proper stairs.
