I've made the decision to purchase a leather couch. We have two largish dogs that are allowed on the furniture (German Shepherd and Shepherd cross) and I'm getting so tired of the micro-fibre we currently have being covered in dog hair. I am looking at a Decor-Rest couch which is Canadian made with good quality as far as structure and cushions go. The only thing I am leery on is the leather. I've seen other samples from other manufacturers (that don't have nearly the same quality construction) that are quite a bit thicker and would be a lot more durable in my mind. Does anyone out there have a Decor-Rest sofa and have pets? Even if you don't have pets and have a Decor-Rest (with Grade 2 leather), what is your opinion on the durability of the leather?
