I have been thinking rosecottage... Maybe I should start a dilemma like *Keep* or * Throw*?
We could post an item we are not sure about and poll the Houzz audience. We could hear what people would do with it. Maybe someone will give an idea ,and it can be repurposed.

Rosecottage, I know all about cleaning that glass fruit! My mother had multiple sets, cobalt, purple, topaz and yellow. Cleaning her silver and glassware was my chore LOL.

I also thought you could add a topiary to the wine bucket, but was afraid to mention " fake" ...oh I'm safe, I'm on the Easter thread still. Margaret you going to take on Margo's suggestion for the new thread? I would but the grandkids are starting to crawl over Nanna and get cranky.......time to get them outside to burn off those chocolate Easter eggs. Note to self.....cut back on buying them so much!

Just a note, that I most likely will not be commenting too often. I need to spend more time on existing projects. I can't get anything done : ) I've fallen into a bit of a slump and seem overwhelmed. It happens now and then. I've loved all the friendships that have been made here. It's been so much fun and it seems we've become good friends. I will be thinking of all of you often. I hope I can pop in now and then. Have fun, I've truly enjoyed this tremendously.

I just checked the link. For a college student she has a difficult time with writing up the business that she is now a partner in....including spelling and grammar errors.

I just hope that someone doesn't get ripped off by her. I have a very bad feeling that the money sent may not result in an actual product being sent to the buyer. The entire thing isn't set up to protect the buyer enough from what she posted the last time she was here.

1) tinnitus, yes. me too (the reason-haha!-otherhalf is in a band--ok, the real reason? probably the lawnmowing. Began wearing those stupid hearing headphones two years ago. Yeah they look dumb, but I think they have helped)
2)the Easter bunny with his ears eaten off... EXACTLY the same image and joke on bday card sent to my mom this year, because she IS deaf (and has a great sense of humor about it)
3) too many inherited things qualify for "Keep or Toss" to begin posting on Margaret's thread
4) also trying restraint with comments bc I always promised myself NOT to be a "top ten commentor" of the week/month/day. I've blown that, eh? :) Nothing happening on my LR thread cuz still waiting on fabric swatches to come. That thread has upped my comment numbers a bit over the top, haha! It's like hosting a party, for Pete's sake!
5) abstract art is really getting a bad name bc of that chick...:)

Too bad because I think her boyfriend's work shows a lot of potential. I applaud the idea of trying to promote his work...it's hard for an artist to get seen...it's just that the method was so scatter-shot that it got terribly annoying. There is definitely an appropriate place and way to get the word out about his work.

Not really, except that these are all on the clearance isle now along with the chocolates and Peeps. This was clearly not a home design thread from the beginning so I commend you for sticking it out and reading allllll that along with the pictures. Good job there and welcome to Houzz where there are other topics from time to time according to season, etc. There's something here for almost everybody.

Next time, when you read the title of the poll or discussion and the first several comments with pictures, you should be able to determine if this is of interest to you. To use HOUZZ, you don't have to be such a good sport. When it doesn't suit you any longer, you can discontinue reading the thread and find something else. As I said, there's SOMETHING for ALMOST everybody. Some threads are more conducive to selling your wares than others. Good luck in your new endeavors with this far reaching community.
