Need advise with old guest bathroom re-model!

This is an odd shape narrow room with limited options. I'd like to replace the tub with a walk in shower, but my husband thinks for future re-sale we should have a tub/shower combo. Don't most people prefer a shower? Your thoughts and suggestions are appreciated.
