My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

How do you keep such a large area rug clean?

Since it is in a high traffic and spill zone, I would have to clean mine daily.

    I love the look of a rug in a kitchen but i, too, worry about how quickly it would get dirty. I have a carpet cleaner though, so i suppose i could run that over it weekly.

    You could not easily clean a spill from that rug - think beets, turmeric, etc. I love this entire kitchen, and the rug really completes the look, but with how I cook, no way. I am happy to admire the rug - its look and the use of it - however!

    I love the look and depending on material and quality it might be easy to clean. There's beautiful indoor- outdoor rugs now that are so versatile. Spills can just be wiped with paper towels. Hers's one:
