I have been doing kitchen gardens for my clients for years and have never found a "catalog" obelisk beefy enough to support zucchinis and melons. I've also had trouble with traditional tomoto supports. My husband is a landscape Architect and woodworker. Together we designed these obelisks with matching tomato cages and he custom built them. This was many years ago and we still do it for clients today. Thanks for your inquiry!

We've honestly never shipped them before. They have been custom made to order for local clients, but we can look into shipping costs, etc. and get back to you (they are quite heavy!) I will let you know as soon I can. Thanks again for your interest!

Any luck on looking into making and shipping these? Know this must be your crazy time of year!

Usually specialty garden structures like these are built over the winter when things slow down. My husband and I run GreenCraft. Our schedules are completely full now, so I couldn't see being able to build anything until late June or perhaps July. Again, we've never really shipped these before and they are quite large (taller than me!) so I really need to spend a little time researching the best way to do so, and if that is something we even want to delve in to (the ones pictured above are made of mahogany; they are very heavy. We have made others with cedar, which are significantly lighter). If you're in a rush, you could try a carpenter or fencing contractor. Show them images of things you like and see what they could do for you. Best of luck and I will certainly get back to you if we do have good results with shipping options, etc...

Do you have a suggested plant list? Looking to do something similar with my Harvard, MA garden.
