We have just moved into a new house and would value some ideas for our lounge. We have an informal family room so this one really only gets used a a study. We are renting so can't change the paint or add photo hooks. The furniture must stay, with the exception of the dining table which I will replace with a new one, and the desk chair which I can't wait to get rid of! I know I need big art over the buffet (a mirror would be too heavy), and there are heavy-duty hooks over the table. I like where the desk is because you don't see it when you walk into the room from the entry hall. I'm wondering if I should move the lounge off the wall? Also, if i centre the lounge on the window and the buffet on the wall they aren't aligned! And because the tall wall unit is where it is te dining table won't fit centred on that wall....! Any ideas would be appreciated!
