So Emily, does that mean you don't sleep at all?

I think I more vary my routine day to day, but lots of days it sure does feel like that. ha!

When his children were little, my son used to get by on four hours a night! Me, I need at least seven.

Friday night and I am getting ready for bed (10 p.m.). The best thing that ever happened to us was the 10 o'clock night news! Early to bed, early to rise. I get more done from 7-9 am than I do the rest of the day. Love the summer daylight hours. Now we can up even earlier and start our day with a bang.

Getting lots of exercise helps me to sleep.

I am a night owl but I wish I would be an early bird so I can enjoy the sun more.

Love working in a room that gets the sun early in the day as I am typing this at 6am local time :)

I love sunrise and sunset as the light changes. Mornings in the garden and late night reading or Houzzing would be my ideal. Reality is seeing the sunrise driving to work, crashing on the couch after dinner and evening activities then waking to read a bit before going to bed.

Night, curled up with cats in front of the fireplace, drinking hot chocolate.

It's 3 am and here I am, so obviously I am a night owl. I enjoy both, the sunrise and sunset. Life is so much more enjoyable now that I am retired, it was tough working a day job all those years.

I'm an early bird. I love the quiet before sunrise, hearing the birds wake up, and then, coffee in hand, watching the sun come up through my kitchen window. I'm most productive in the early morning, then slowly wind down as the day gets older. By evening, I'm pretty worthless and lazy.

    Night Owl Here !
My mother is very intolerant about that and said to me not so long ago that I should go to bed earlier so I could get going full of energy in the mornings (I'm 50 something by the way).
I told her that that was like me telling her to go to bed a bit later so she could sleep in in the mornings. She looked into the distance as if I had said something incomprehensible.

I'm actually both. I get up early to be more productive and go to bed late to wrap up the day and have some alone time.

Early bird and I like light colors on the walls along with natural wood tones.

I'm not sure what I am, I don't stay up terribly late, but don't want to get up early either. No, I'm not lazy, I just need a lot of sleep! I wish I was one of those people that could function well on 5-6 hours a night.

Love the blue of night. I also love to look out my door occasionally and see a perfectly blue sky! Blue is my signature color...outside :) My eyes are blue and they see blue very well :)

I'm a night owl and love doing yoga before bed ... I sleep like a log.

I'm a reluctant early bird, I couldn't do differently my body wakes up early no matter what was the hour I went to bed. It’s a family thing. On the plus side, in the morning I have plenty of time to get ready, to have a relaxing non rushed breakfast and to get to work always perfectly on time and in the week end everything is done by 10 o’clock, so I have all day for myself to do whatever I like.

I love mornings...I feel like I can conquer the world....

Due to my current living situation, the only time of where the house is quiet is late at night. It's when I'm most productive and most calm.

Night-owl here. I like black walls, dark floors, dim lights- Just kidding! ;) My house is quite normal, light and airy... This thread is hilarious!

Where was the option for neither? I would prefer to work from 10 am to 6 pm and go to bed a few hours later! I go through streaks where I will wake up everyday at 5 or 6 and ready to conquer the world then the next week all I want to do is sleep after conquering said world!
