We are installing a sleek white kitchen and I've chosen handles
similar to those shown. My dilemma is that I have drawers and cabinets
ranging from 18" wide to 36" wide. My cabinet gal said I should get at least 9" pulls for the big drawers; the guy where I'm getting the pulls says 6" would be ok. So, my questions are: 1) Should I get all the pulls the same size for consistency (I do like consistency) or should I get big for the big drawers and smaller for the smaller? I think 9" is probably too big for all of them. 2) Is there a "rule" for whether upper pulls should be vertical or horizontal? I know its a matter of preference, but still look for input because I have drawers and cabinets on every side. It's really the tall pantry that is confusing me as those seem to need to be vertical, but maybe the rest horizontal? 3) Finally, even if I go for a consistent 6" for the drawers and I go horizontal for the upper cabinets, then should I just do 3" pulls for the cabinets that will meet (so they look like 6")? Any input is much appreciated!
