We are considering corrugated metal siding for our new home build in Canada. Does anyone know if it dents?

Yes, when big objects hit it or hail storms. True corrugated metal on a house is noisy when the rain hits it, but on a roof, it is like music to sleep by . . . That is what we had on our farmhouse growing up. Check out types and grades of corrugated metal before using it so your not disappointed. It does rust after many years, but can be repainted. This fiberglass corrugated material will degrade also. Just do some research first. I do love the look!
