Kowalske Kitchen & Bath designed and remodeled this Delafield master bathroom. The original space had a small oak vanity and a shower insert. The homeowners wanted a modern farmhouse bathroom to match the rest of their home. They asked for a double vanity and large walk-in shower. They also needed more storage and counter space. Although the space is nearly all white, there is plenty of visual interest. This bathroom is layered with texture and pattern. For instance, this bathroom features shiplap walls, pretty hexagon tile, and simple matte black fixtures. Modern Farmhouse Features: - Winning color palette: shades of black/white & wood tones - Shiplap walls - Sliding barn doors, separating the bedroom & toilet room - Wood-look porcelain tiled floor & shower niche, set in a herringbone pattern - Matte black finishes (faucets, lighting, hardware & mirrors) - Classic subway tile - Chic carrara marble hexagon shower floor tile - The shower has 2 shower heads & 6 body jets, for a spa-like experience - The custom vanity has a grooming organizer for hair dryers & curling irons - The custom linen cabinet holds 3 baskets of laundry. The door panels have caning inserts to allow airflow.

Beautiful white and blue tiled shower with tile from Wayne Tile in NJ. The accent floor of blue hexagon tile with the white, and wood-like floors have a beachy vibe. Gray tones playfulness a kid’s bathroom in Oak Park. This bath was design with kids in mind but still to have the aesthetic lure of a beautiful guest bathroom. The flooring is made out of gray and white hexagon tiles with different textures to it, creating a playful puzzle of colors and creating a perfect anti slippery surface for kids to use. The walls tiles are 3x6 gray subway tile with glossy finish for an easy to clean surface and to sparkle with the ceiling lighting layout. A semi-modern vanity design brings all the colors together with darker gray color and quartz countertop. In conclusion a bathroom for everyone to enjoy and admire.

We renovated this attic so the client could have their ideal ensuite, offering a bright and spacious bathroom and functional bedroom. The chic industrial-vintage designed bathroom features a classic black and white color palette with pops of gold for added glamor. The large walk-in shower showcases a mosaic shower niche, full-length shower bench, and a gold, vintage shower head. The bedroom features brand new wood flooring and a built-in entertainment center, perfect for all their media accessories, decor, and books! We completed this bathroom remodel in January 2016. Before photos are on our website. We built this custom vanity console with Walnut because the original cabinet maker was 8 weeks out and the bathroom was already demoed when we were hired.

This classic Portland bungalow in the highly desirable Irvington neighborhood has been in the family for generations and lovingly cared for and updated throughout the years. It was now the main floor’s primary bathroom that needed to be addressed. A tight footprint made for some space planning challenges, but what we love so much about this project is that it demonstrates that so much can be done with a small space! Designing a shallower than typical vanity allowed us to extend the cabinetry and countertop as far as the door swing into the room would allow, adding much needed storage to the room. A narrow undermount sink combined with wall mount faucet ensures the vanity remains extremely functional. A tower cabinet at the end frames the sink and mirror, bringing an appreciated moment of symmetry while providing space for electric bathroom products and so much more. Where a two sided tub/shower once lived, now a walk in shower framed in glass makes the space feel, and live, significantly larger than its modest square footage. The use of glass on only the long side, and pony wall with glass above on the short end, visually expands the space allowing the eye to move freely around the room while still providing privacy at the toilet. Marmoleum flooring makes for easy cleaning while mosaic tile on the shower floor ensures traction in the wet environment. A classic penny tile accent around the shower walls, combined with the tile wainscot around the room speak to the classic architecture of the home. The bright and fresh palette is at once lively and calming, youthful and sophisticated, current and timeless!

The client derived inspiration for her new shower from a photo featuring a multi-colored tile floor. Using this photo, Gayler Design Build custom-designed a shower pan that incorporated six different colors of 4-inch hexagon tiles by Lunada Bay. These tiles were beautifully combined and laid in a “dark to light” pattern effectively transforming the shower into a work of art. Contributing to the room’s classic and timeless bathroom design was the shower walls that were designed in cotton white 3x6 subway tiles with grey grout. An elongated, oversized shower niche completed the look providing just the right space for necessary soap and shampoo bottles.

This vintage style bathroom was inspired by it's 1930's art deco roots. The goal was to recreate a space that felt like it was original. With lighting from Rejuvenation, tile from B&W tile and Kohler fixtures, this is a small bathroom that packs a design punch.
