My client is brilliant , so he did some googling (is that a word?) and came across several sites that had a recipe to do just that. He put a steel wool pad into a jar of vinegar and let it sit for a bit. In another jar, he mixed black tea with water. Brush the tea on first and let it dry. Mark Ehlen Photography A 90's Golden Oak kitchen (common in MN) needed a refresh, but keeping in tune with the original style of the home was an important piece. So cherry cabinets and a beautiful blue double island transformed this kitchen and dinette into a single space. Now when the kids come home from college there's plenty of room for everyone!

Arched valances above the window and on the island bookshelf, along with the curved custom metal hood above the stainless steel range, contrast nicely with the overall linear design of the space. The leaded glass cabinet doors not only create a spot to display the homeowner’s favorite glassware, but visually it helps prevent the white cabinets from being overbearing. By installing recessed can lights uniformly throughout the space instead of decorative pendants above the island, the kitchen appears more open and spacious.

Features include custom wood cabinetry (Sherwin Williams Elder White) to the ceiling with soft close feature, quartz countertops (Quartzite Calacatta), stone backsplash (3x6 Valentino White Tile), under cabinet lighting, stainless steel farm sink, and DCS stainless steel appliances including 48" gas range, double drawer dishwasher and double door refrigerator. In this kitchen renovation we installed Medallion Silverline Lancaster Cherry Cabinets with Chestnut stain accented with a Medallion Gold Potters Mill Cherry Mission arched valance 4x60 with Chestnut stain accented with Amerock caramel bronze pull. For the countertops, we installed Cambria Quartz surfacing in Bradshaw color with bullnose edge. The backsplash was created using 3x6 Durango tile with Daltile stone radiance glass and stone pieces with a pearl grout. An Elkay sink with Kohler stainless steel faucet. On the floor porcelain wood look tile in light Chocolate was installed.

Dark stone, custom cherry cabinetry, misty forest wallpaper, and a luxurious soaker tub mix together to create this spectacular primary bathroom. These returning clients came to us with a vision to transform their builder-grade bathroom into a showpiece, inspired in part by the Japanese garden and forest surrounding their home. Our designer, Anna, incorporated several accessibility-friendly features into the bathroom design; a zero-clearance shower entrance, a tiled shower bench, stylish grab bars, and a wide ledge for transitioning into the soaking tub. Our master cabinet maker and finish carpenters collaborated to create the handmade tapered legs of the cherry cabinets, a custom mirror frame, and new wood trim.
