The cabinets were stripped, sanded down, and painted. A craftsman crown was added to the top of the cabinets to fit with the contemporary style of the home. A tile backsplash was added along with a center island. The cabinet to the left of the sink was adapted and remade to fit a dishwasher and a pull out trash was added to fill the leftover space. The partial wall was removed and the existing doorway (to the right) was closed off.
