Example of a mid-sized trendy formal and open concept medium tone wood floor living room design in Denver with gray walls, no fireplace and a wall-mounted tv

Opening up the great room to the rest of the lower level was a major priority in this remodel. Walls were removed to allow more light and open-concept design transpire with the same LVT flooring throughout. The fireplace received a new look with splitface stone and cantilever hearth. Painting the back wall a rich blue gray brings focus to the heart of this home around the fireplace. New artwork and accessories accentuate the bold blue color. Large sliding glass doors to the back of the home are covered with a sleek roller shade and window cornice in a solid fabric with a geometric shape trim.
Barn doors to the office add a little depth to the space when closed. Prospect into the family room, dining area, and stairway from the front door were important in this design.

Designing a whole home remodel for a client’s second home was an exciting opportunity to create a space that felt both welcoming and timeless. The clients wanted a space that felt light, bright, and timeless. We focused on an open-concept layout, maximizing natural light and incorporating soft, neutral tones that complemented the desert landscape. The main showstopper of the home was the kitchen, which the family considered the heart of the home. Featuring high-end finishes, the kitchen became a space for both cooking and gathering, designed for both functionality and elegance. Thoughtful touches, such as custom cabinetry, integrated appliances, and custom hood, helped elevate the entire space, making it a true focal point. With a thoughtful blend of modern design and classic touches, the remodel was tailored to ensure the space could grow with the family and become a place they would cherish and enjoy for years to come.

Our clients wanted a contemporary living room that reminded them of a New York City apartment. We selected a modern mural as a focal point, and chose a mid-century modern motif, with dark gray walls, a white sofa with a huge kidney pillow, gray velvet side chairs, a sleek gray on gray bench, stainless steel black glass cocktail table, glam floor lamps, and silver and black faux silk drapery side panels.

This double-height grand room exudes luxury with its soaring walls of custom floor-to-ceiling wainscoting and expansive windows that flood the space with natural light. A sophisticated seating arrangement features a modern fireplace with a clean stone surround.

Dark kitchen cabinets, a glossy fireplace, metal lights, foliage-printed wallpaper; and warm-hued upholstery — this new build-home is a balancing act of dark colors with sunlit interiors.
