Built from the ground up on 80 acres outside Dallas, Oregon, this new modern ranch house is a balanced blend of natural and industrial elements. The custom home beautifully combines various materials, unique lines and angles, and attractive finishes throughout. The property owners wanted to create a living space with a strong indoor-outdoor connection. We integrated built-in sky lights, floor-to-ceiling windows and vaulted ceilings to attract ample, natural lighting. The master bathroom is spacious and features an open shower room with soaking tub and natural pebble tiling. There is custom-built cabinetry throughout the home, including extensive closet space, library shelving, and floating side tables in the master bedroom. The home flows easily from one room to the next and features a covered walkway between the garage and house. One of our favorite features in the home is the two-sided fireplace – one side facing the living room and the other facing the outdoor space. In addition to the fireplace, the homeowners can enjoy an outdoor living space including a seating area, in-ground fire pit and soaking tub.

The Antique Reclaimed 'Mesa' Limestone Wall Cladding selection is unique in its blend and authenticity, rare in it's hardness and beauty.
Draping your inside and outside walls with the 'Mesa' Stone, gives you a feel of timelessness allowing you to travel back in time into the untouched North Mediterranean domains of fallen Empires and ancient bustling coastal trading villages, where a mercantile class have built some of the most luxurious estates out of the breath taking local stone blocks all along the shoreline of Southern Europe.
This exclusive 'Ancient Surfaces' stone wall cladding blend might just be the missing link needed to transform your home from a logging space to your dream space...

This cute cottage, one block from the beach, had not been updated in over 20 years. The homeowners finally decided that it was time to renovate after scrapping the idea of tearing the home down and starting over. Amazingly, they were able to give this house a fresh start with our input. We completed a full kitchen renovation and addition and updated 4 of their bathrooms. We added all new light fixtures, furniture, wallpaper, flooring, window treatments and tile. The mix of metals and wood brings a fresh vibe to the home. We loved working on this project and are so happy with the outcome!

A cabin in Western Wisconsin is transformed from within to become a serene and modern retreat. In a past life, this cabin was a fishing cottage which was part of a resort built in the 1920’s on a small lake not far from the Twin Cities. The cabin has had multiple additions over the years so improving flow to the outdoor space, creating a family friendly kitchen, and relocating a bigger master bedroom on the lake side were priorities. The solution was to bring the kitchen from the back of the cabin up to the front, reduce the size of an overly large bedroom in the back in order to create a more generous front entry way/mudroom adjacent to the kitchen, and add a fireplace in the center of the main floor.

This mountaintop site, the location for a proposed garage and shop would, from its second story, offer a million dollar view of the expansive valley below. This unusual building takes this opportunity to the max. The building’s first level provides various spaces for shops garage bays, and storage. Cantilevered roofs off each side shelter additional work space, and transition visitors to the apartment entry. Arriving upstairs, the visitor enters between private bed-bath spaces on the uphill side, and a generous open kitchen and living area focused on the view. An unusual cantilevered covered porch provides outdoor dining space, and allows the apartment’s living space to extend beyond the garage doors below. A library ladder serves a mini-loft third level. The flexible interior arrangement allows guests to entertain from the kitchen, or to find a private nook in the living area, while maintaining a visual link to what makes this place special.

Mid-sized transitional l-shaped light wood floor, brown floor and tray ceiling open concept kitchen photo in Kansas City with an undermount sink, shaker cabinets, yellow cabinets, soapstone countertops, white backsplash, wood backsplash, colored appliances, no island and black countertops

During construction the client loved the openness of the space. We took the original 10 foot ceilings and lifted them to 11 ft and created a recessed curtain nook to conceal the hardware. isARK Studio

This client has been a client with EdenLA since 2010, and this is one of the projects we have done with them through the years. We are in planning phases now of a historical Spanish stunner in Hancock Park, but more on that later. This home reflected our awesome clients' affinity for the modern. A slight sprucing turned into a full renovation complete with additions of this mid century modern house that was more fitting for their growing family. Working with this client is always truly collaborative and we enjoy the end results immensely. The custom gallery wall in this house was super fun to create and we love the faith our clients place in us.

Location: Nantucket, MA, USA
This classic Nantucket home had not been renovated in several decades and was in serious need of an update. The vision for this summer home was to be a beautiful, light and peaceful family retreat with the ability to entertain guests and extended family. The focal point of the kitchen is the La Canche Chagny Range in Faience with custom hood to match. We love how the tile backsplash on the Prep Sink wall pulls it all together and picks up on the spectacular colors in the White Princess Quartzite countertops. In a nod to traditional Nantucket Craftsmanship, we used Shiplap Panelling on many of the walls including in the Kitchen and Powder Room. We hope you enjoy the quiet and tranquil mood of these images as much as we loved creating this space. Keep your eye out for additional images as we finish up Phase II of this amazing project!

This chandelier places its components together in an unexpected way for a unique, modern presence. The stunning organza shade diffuses the light in a seductive, new way. Strands of crystal act as a romantic addition to this already unique look. A chrome finished fixture completes the contemporary look. Shown with an Oyster silk shade; also available in White and Black.
