Our carpenters labored every detail from chainsaws to the finest of chisels and brad nails to achieve this eclectic industrial design. This project was not about just putting two things together, it was about coming up with the best solutions to accomplish the overall vision. A true meeting of the minds was required around every turn to achieve "rough" in its most luxurious state.
Featuring multiple Columbia Cabinet finishes; contrasting backsplashes, wall textures and flooring are all part of what makes this project so unique! Features include: Sharp microwave drawer, glass front wine fridge, fully integrated dishwasher, Blanco compost bin recessed into the counter, Walnut floating shelves, and barn house lighting.

Blending knotty alder cabinets with classic quartz countertops, subway tile and rich oak flooring makes this open plan kitchen a warm retreat. Wrapped posts now replace previous structural walls and flank the extra-large island. Pro appliances, an apron sink and heavy hardware completes the rustic look. The adjacent bathroom features the same materials along with trendy encaustic floor tile for fun.

Solid wood custom Knotty Alder arched double entry doors.
Knotty Alder offers a warm, rustic appearance for these doors with its tan-reddish color and the full character of knots, wormholes, and mineral streaks. The design has traditional features such as the arched top, straight glass dividers (called muntins), and raised panels. This door would fit well in any traditional, rustic, country, mediterranean, and even contemporary home.
We make our doors in any size, any design, from any type of wood. Call or visit our website https://www.door.cc

We added three barn doors to this converted garage. The smaller barn door is the access point to the rest of the house. The two, larger barn doors conceal the electrical box and water heater. We trimmed out the storage shelves using knotty alder too. This space is very functional and has a airy, open floor-plan. The hand-scrapped hardwood floors add another layer of color and texture to this space. Photo by Mark Bealer of Studio 66, LLC

This kitchen is the perfect blend of traditional and modern. The traditional shaker cabinetry with large crown molding contrasts the ultra-modern alder wood valence above the kitchen perimeter, with matching cabinets encasing the range hood. A waterfall edge quartz island with alder cabinetry adds another element of sophistication. Elegant pendants, handmade Encore crackle glaze tile and clean-lined hardware make this kitchen a true blend of the two styles.

For this rustic alder kitchen we built shaker style doors and slab drawers. Two of the upper cabinet doors were built with clear glass, adding to the decorativeness of the kitchen.
