Exterior garage up lighting and evergreen tree up lighting. We core drill into the concrete driveway and recess lights into the concrete to up light the exterior garage facade and the arborvitae trees lining the driveway. This is the best way to light a garage

This rental property received an update and renovation. An expanded planting bed to include the existing tree enlarged the scale of this ranch home and created a more welcoming entry. A new flagstone path was installed for the mailman. New plantings included a Viburnum, Redtwig Dogwood, Spirea and a yew were added to the existing globe Arborvitae. Boulder accents were added.

Patio - rustic patio idea in Indianapolis

Here there is a step down via limestone steps into a sunken garden beside the pool and an outdoor seating area with a fire pit as its focal point. The fire pit is CorTen steel. That seating area is flanked with oak leaf hydrangeas, arborvitae, and autumn fern, another Japanese maple that was relocated into a large steel CorTen, a steel planter Carlton Edwards designed. Along the northern property line in front of an existing fence, European Columnar Hornbeams were placed to provide a vertical hedge and to offer privacy from the adjoining neighbor and second-story addition on the rear of that home. There's also a cedar boardwalk that connects the central lawn area to a sunroom on the side of the house. The Hornbeams are underplanted with Big Blue Liriope. This design maximized the potential for the whole property.

After- We built a custom cedar planter box over the septic. A recessed removable lid provides access to the clean out below. Permeable pavers were installed in a random pattern around the planter box to add some interest to the yard.

The backyard pool was void of any landscaping around the perimeter of the fencing. Arborvitae, Lilacs, Hydrangea, Boxwood, Spirea, Hibiscus, Forest Pansy Redbuds and Hosta were planted to help screen out the surrounding houses and electric pools.
