In the early 50s, Herbert and Ruth Weiss attended a lecture by Bauhaus founder Walter Gropius hosted by MIT. They were fascinated by Gropius’ description of the ‘Five Fields’ community of 60 houses he and his firm, The Architect’s Collaborative (TAC), were designing in Lexington, MA. The Weiss’ fell in love with Gropius’ vision for a grouping of 60 modern houses to be arrayed around eight acres of common land that would include a community pool and playground. They soon had one of their own.The original, TAC-designed house was a single-slope design with a modest footprint of 800 square feet. Several years later, the Weiss’ commissioned modernist architect Henry Hoover to add a living room wing and new entry to the house. Hoover’s design included a wall of glass which opens to a charming pond carved into the outcropping of granite ledge. After living in the house for 65 years, the Weiss’ sold the house to our client, who asked us to design a renovation that would respect the integrity of the vintage modern architecture. Our design focused on reorienting the kitchen, opening it up to the family room. The bedroom wing was redesigned to create a principal bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Interior finishes were edited to create a more fluid relationship between the original TAC home and Hoover’s addition. We worked closely with the builder, Patriot Custom Homes, to install Solar electric panels married to an efficient heat pump heating and cooling system. These updates integrate modern touches and high efficiency into a striking piece of architectural history.

Design cues From our crystal range of pendants, these scones come with an added advantage of convertible fitting that you can change anytime from hard wired to plugin. So, now you have freedom to install these sconce where ever you want. Coming from design background, for me utility (read convenience, freedom of usage, pain points) are a bit more important than the aesthetics part. With each design, I try to improve a bit on 'non-beauty' part too, and now that I am creating things from scratch and have choice to work from ground up, I use every opportunity to make your product experience better, even if it means attending to a pain point (in this case freedom of choice after buying). Dimension - 9" x 4.25" - A small Naaya logo (approx 3/4") is embossed in 1 place on the inside surface of lamp. - The lamp shade can be cleaned without hassle. Just wipe with damp cloth. Accessories - All Light electrical Fixtures are in compliance with US, European, UK, Australian, Canadian and International Standard. - Lamp comes with E27 holder (bulbs not supplied) - Wall mount and other accessories supplied. - We may be able to accommodate some custom changes in the setup (wire length etc.) with nominal cost.

I also have a extra sunlight binder and I have put everything she has done in that binder worksheets poems, printables and I will add her attendance work sheet when we finish then this box will be put up for when kainen is old enough, On the floor is a organizer for craft supplies, then the next shelf from the bottom is mckylees Beads It has beads and string and stuff to make jewelry with. then the diaper box covered in blue fabric is things she has made for school this year that she plays with. like the can phone, tornado in a jar, etc. and her house she made the next shelf with Green and blue baskets which come from the dollar tree the Green has yarn and paper plates and the pink basket has tons of color paper, the big purple tote is play doh, and a play mat and tools for the play doh also a dry eraser covers with play doh printables tucked into them, The pink shower caddy comes in handy during homeschool crafts it holds are glue gun, glue sticks, scissors, and we fill it up with the things we need for the craft and take it to the kitchen table, the top shelf starting from the bottom left is a purple box of craft supples from popsicles sticks to pipe cleaners and glitter, the top purple box is a science box it has magnets and goggles and tongs, magnifying glasses rubber bands, etc, the big box is a build your own fort kit in the middle is paint and paint brushes, then the beloved board games,!

Debbie's educational background includes a Master's Certificate in Project Management, a MBA in Finance & Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Lehigh University. Debbie is currently the President for the Northern New Jersey Chapter of the NKBA (National Kitchen & Bath Association). NARI CAPITAL COTY, HONORABLE MENTION AWARD WINNER, RESIDENTIAL KITCHEN $50,000 TO $100,000 The owners of this Mount Vernon home purchased it with plans to remodel the kitchen. The original space was tired, dark and disorganized. A peninsula separated the kitchen from the breakfast area and the adjacent sunroom was only accessed via a single door. The back pantry was poorly designed and there was no logic to the kitchen’s work space. The first step in this stunning transformation involved replacing the original peninsula with a large central island. Built using espresso stained furniture-quality cabinets with icon legs, open bottoms and exotic dark granite countertops, all kitchen traffic now flows around the island. The outside wall of the kitchen, featuring a 48” Thermador range, stainless steel range hood and glass tile backsplash, is the focal point of the new space. A stainless steel farm-style sink sits beneath one of two large windows that provide lots of natural light into the room. To the right, sits a 48” Sub Zero refrigerator/freezer. The wall adjacent to the family room was never used properly. Now it is home to two tall pantries, double ovens and a microwave. Rock outcroppings make a striking background for new lounge areas in this compact Los Angeles hillside garden. Working with the attributes of the site, we added native plants to drape over the stone, and converted hollowed stone planters into a firepit and water feature.
