This farmhouse bathroom is small in size but huge in character and classic touches. The small shelf alcove generates extra storage space and becomes an interesting architectural element for an otherwise blank wall. Many of the fixtures and accessories installed in this bathroom have a history of their own as architectural salvage or garbage finds. The sink was found along the side of a road, cleaned up and given new life, as was the beautiful medicine cabinet mounted above.

This vanity was designed for a very small space to take advantage of every inch of storage. The vanity is black painted with an exotic granite countertop. An element of sparkle was added with the arched top mirror and the unique square glass cabinet knobs. The oval backplates of the wall sconces compliment the arched top of the mirror.

An incredible pair of antique Art Deco slip shade sconces, circa 1930, and found in a home in Roanoke, VA. Each sconce features a shield-shaped backplate framed with a border of foliate detailing; the backplate is ornamented with an arrow motif with a broadhead crowning the plate and fletching finishing it at the bottom. A frosted slipper shade fits within the backplate, and features understated, linear detailing. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; the shades are in very good antique condition with some fleabites around the edges of the shades and one small chip (as pictured.) The sconces have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces measure 12-1/4” tall, 4-3/4" wide, and project 4-1/8” from the wall. NSP1076
