Inspiration for a modern home design remodel in Chicago

This beautiful red dining room offers natural light from the wall of windows that are framed in custom drapes and valance. The antique Duncan Phife table and chairs are a family heirloom and updated with a new Duncan stripe. The Botanical print collection are from 1910 and placed in custom finished frames. As a collection, they provide the perfect sized art for this wall without being overwhelming. The chandelier with parchment silk shades add a warm glow to compliment any festive gathering.

Kennedy Joy was our most recent room makeover for Sunshine Spaces. This sweet two year old is in love with all things “Frozen”. We, A Work of Art!, hand painted her walls for a translucent ice castle effect. The walls are set for this little princess with soft shades of ice blue, lavender and teal. Glitter and snowflakes adorn these walls, while hand painted icicles and snowflakes accent her bed and dresser. We used Design 7 Seven acrylic glaze to achieve the transparency needed for the special effects. We are privileged, honor and blessed to be a part of Kennedy’s life. All new stainless steel appliances, and a brand new bamboo floor! A modern spin on a beautiful home in Pleasanton, California. We Feng Shui'ed the space, and performed a sage cleansing and blessing. Then we designed a staging game plan, which we implemented with our staging partner, No. 1 Staging of Santa Clara.

Custom cabinetry to complete this special TV/gaming piece make it comfortable and efficient. This beautiful home addition of approx. 650 square feet was a way to bring this family's child closer to home as they go through school. Complete with a bedroom, en suite bathroom, small kitchen, and living space, it brings together family living with freedom. We're blessed to unite families and make dreams come true!

The Home The Elbert, named after a Colorado fourteener, is designed in the modern farmhouse style with an open concept that creates a welcoming feeling. The two-story entry light compliments the incredible view of Pikes Peak. The main level includes a gourmet kitchen open to the great room, dining room and study. The master suite is an owner’s delight with a separate seating area that opens to a spa-like master bathroom. Moving up a level will reveal one of JS Homes’ specialties. Utilizing often overlooked space, we bring our East Coast influences to the Colorado Springs market by using the attic for additional living space without adding another floor. This results in higher roof lines and a majestic appearance. Two bedrooms, a bathroom and a bonus room will be a delight for the kids in the family. The ten-foot ceiling in the lower-level was designed with entertaining in mind. Two bedrooms, a shared bath and an exercise room complete the ensemble. Our client had already used Twisted Rock previously for a different project and we were blessed enough to have them utilize our services again!! They wanted another clean-looking, low maintenance yard that was functional with great curb appeal that would not take a bunch of time to maintain. We utilized natural rock, concrete edging, and aggregate as well as created a fire pit patio for cozy family nights under the stars....

This elegant U-shaped staircase rises in a home blessed with mountain views and abundant natural light. Positioned to the right of the front door and adjacent to the panoramic open living space, the staircase features thick natural wood treads and a post-to-post handrail that complement the home's beautiful woodwork throughout. White-painted newels and risers keep the design feeling fresh and bright. A two-floor overlook balcony with matching white railing extends above, creating visual connection between levels while framing views of the surrounding mountains.
