This project was featured in Midwest Home magazine as the winner of ASID Life in Color. The addition of a kitchen with custom shaker-style cabinetry and a large shiplap island is perfect for entertaining and hosting events for family and friends. Quartz counters that mimic the look of marble were chosen for their durability and ease of maintenance. Open shelving with brass sconces above the sink create a focal point for the large open space. Putting a modern spin on the traditional nautical/coastal theme was a goal. We took the quintessential palette of navy and white and added pops of green, stylish patterns, and unexpected artwork to create a fresh bright space. Grasscloth on the back of the built in bookshelves and console table along with rattan and the bentwood side table add warm texture. Finishes and furnishings were selected with a practicality to fit their lifestyle and the connection to the outdoors. A large sectional along with the custom cocktail table in the living room area provide ample room for game night or a quiet evening watching movies with the kids. Who says we can’t have it all? Shaped by deluxe cushions and swathed in enticing tones and soothing textures, the Cleo turns this common fallacy into glorious reality. The sectional’s perks are plentiful; with deep seating you can’t help but sink into and refreshing accent pillows you must cuddle up to, you may lose yourself, but you’ll find your peace of mind. Bright-striped and striking, the coordinating cocktail ottoman stands on turned, dark walnut-finished legs and plays host to trays of treats or extra guests.

The goal for this kitchen was to create a beautiful and functional place that better matched the family needs. The owners said that there was not enough space for cooking and hosting large parties. The existing kitchen’s layout didn’t allow for more space and openness. We decided to remove the wall between the kitchen and dining area to allow us to enlarge their kitchen and bring in an abundance of sunlight. Alder wood cabinetry created a traditional, cozy feeling while the large island is ideal for cooking and hosting large gatherings. The pantry cabinets were designed with roll-outs, ample amount of drawers, and tray dividers which all provides easy access and organization. The upper glass doors cabinets adds a feeling of elegance. We’re happy to say that the clients are very excited to enjoy the luxury of their new, functional kitchen that is filled with lots of light that can be enjoyed by the entire family. Entryway - eclectic entryway idea in Dallas

A dining room with a large wood table for 8 guests in gold and blue. White host chairs with nail trim. Blue velvet dining chairs. Round gold mirrors frame the blue abstract art. Mixing metals: Chrome and brushed gold are fearlessly combined. Textured walls: The wallpaper adds sparkle and sheen to the wall. The crown molding and ceiling are painted in a color that "flows" from the wallpaper. This creates unity between the walls and ceiling without overwhelming the space.
