This quality custom home is found in the Willowdale neighbourhood of North York, in the Greater Toronto Area. It was designed and built by Avvio Fine Homes in 2015. Built on a 44' x 130' lot, the 3480 sq ft. home (+ 1082 sq ft. finished lower level) has 4 + 1 bedrooms, 4 + 1 bathrooms and 2-car at-grade garage. Avvio's Vincent Gambino designed the home using Feng Shui principles, creating a smart layout filled with natural light, highlighted by the spa-like master ensuite and large gourmet kitchen and servery. This is a studio shed for a local Portland designer. It features three distinct areas in a relatively small space – a work area, a study area for desk and shelves, and a toolshed. The patio doors open into the work area. The study area, with built-in desk and shelves, is in the front area. The study area has high windows for sunlight and different exterior siding. The toolshed is a completely separate space, with its own doors, on the side of the building.

Our Austin studio decided to go bold with this project by ensuring that each space had a unique identity in the Mid-Century Modern style bathroom, butler's pantry, and mudroom. We covered the bathroom walls and flooring with stylish beige and yellow tile that was cleverly installed to look like two different patterns. The mint cabinet and pink vanity reflect the mid-century color palette. The stylish knobs and fittings add an extra splash of fun to the bathroom. The butler's pantry is located right behind the kitchen and serves multiple functions like storage, a study area, and a bar. We went with a moody blue color for the cabinets and included a raw wood open shelf to give depth and warmth to the space. We went with some gorgeous artistic tiles that create a bold, intriguing look in the space. In the mudroom, we used siding materials to create a shiplap effect to create warmth and texture – a homage to the classic Mid-Century Modern design. We used the same blue from the butler's pantry to create a cohesive effect. The large mint cabinets add a lighter touch to the space.

Inspiration for a contemporary master bedroom remodel in New York

Located in Studio City's Wrightwood Estates, Levi Construction’s latest residency is a two-story mid-century modern home that was re-imagined and extensively remodeled with a designer’s eye for detail, beauty and function. Beautifully positioned on a 9,600-square-foot lot with approximately 3,000 square feet of perfectly-lighted interior space. The open floorplan includes a great room with vaulted ceilings, gorgeous chef’s kitchen featuring Viking appliances, a smart WiFi refrigerator, and high-tech, smart home technology throughout. There are a total of 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. On the first floor there are three large bedrooms, three bathrooms and a maid’s room with separate entrance. A custom walk-in closet and amazing bathroom complete the master retreat. The second floor has another large bedroom and bathroom with gorgeous views to the valley. For this stunning home, our St. Pete studio created a bold, bright, balanced design plan to invoke a sophisticated vibe. Our love for the color blue was included in the carefully planned color scheme of the home. We added a gorgeous blue and white rug in the entryway to create a fabulous first impression. The adjacent living room got soft blue accents creating a cozy ambience. In the formal dining area, we added a beautiful wallpaper with fun prints to complement the stylish furniture. Another lovely wallpaper with fun blue and yellow details creates a cheerful ambience in the breakfast corner near the beautiful kitchen. The bedrooms have a neutral palette creating an elegant and relaxing vibe.
