As cork is a natural thermal resistant material it also provides proper insulation so that rooms with cork flooring remain naturally warm and pleasant.

Barnstorming-era biplanes fly across a clear blue sky in what will be a child's bedroom. The ceiling was created by using digital wide format printing and stretch ceiling technologies. This makes it possible to see exactly what you will get before your mural is installed, and makes a ceiling that will never fade, peel discolour, bubble, mould, dent, or sag. Stretch ceilings have been tested for safety with various sports balls, and all bounce off without damage.

Hammer & Hand built this custom listening room for a Portland audiophile. To isolate the room from the rest of the home and improve the listening experience the space includes a self-contained minisplit heat pump and a dedicated cryogenically-treated electricity system. Tibetan bowls allow the client to tune the room. Noted acoustic engineer Art Noxon positioned gray bass traps along the walls of the room so bass frequencies penetrate the walls instead of bouncing around the room. The team removed a bathroom to increase the size of the space to 11 x 17. Double sound attenuating doors lock sound into the room and keep the rest of the home quiet. After assessing the Feng Shui and coming up with a design plan, we designed a serene space that encouraged romance and peace. The Carrara marble in the main bathroom is timeless, and really bounces the light around. We used all British faucets, sinks, and a soaking tub, complete with English tub filler. The deal was, the husband got a huge walk-in shower, and his wife got her bathtub. Everyone is happy!

These have been paired with a rose pink velvet from Kravet for the headboard. The bedside lamps from Original BTC are wall mounted to reduce clutter on the bedside tables Pink was chosen as the main colour for the master bedroom as this is the colour of a nurturing, caring and empathetic love. This was paired with a mentally soothing petrol blue to add contrast and balance. The bespoke joinery is mirrored to bounce light around the room, and to create the illusion of a bigger space. The petrol blues flow into the en-suite shower room.
