Dr. Lauren Nichols wanted to treat herself to a luxurious closet. She was tired of being so cramped. So, we took her guest bedroom and transformed it into a massive master closet! She wasn’t sure how to re-configure her space, so Design Actually did a scan of her current space and then drew her dream Master Suite!
The color palette is white with hints of color in artwork and accessories. We used marble throughout with a floral marble insert in the shower. The gold finished plumbing and lighting fixtures bounce off the white tile and paint.

A converted print factory is now home to a young professional couple. Space was almost doubled with the installation of mezzanine levels in three main areas. Double height ceilings allows natural light to fill the interiors and use of pale colors bounces light around.

Absolutely the best quality for the price on the market. "Not only are the mats exceptionally easy to clean, but our athletes love them as well. They do a great job of deadening vibrations, equipment doesn't bounce, and they feel good on joints and limbs. Highly recommended!" - Margaret

In the master bedroom, the floral pattern on the Romo wallpaper and Clarissa Hulse curtain fabric add a soft feminine feel to the space, as well as biophilic elements. These have been paired with a rose pink velvet from Kravet for the headboard. The bedside lamps from Original BTC are wall mounted to reduce clutter on the bedside tables
Pink was chosen as the main colour for the master bedroom as this is the colour of a nurturing, caring and empathetic love. This was paired with a mentally soothing petrol blue to add contrast and balance. The bespoke joinery is mirrored to bounce light around the room, and to create the illusion of a bigger space. The petrol blues flow into the en-suite shower room.

This back splash adds a nice smoky gray element to this contemporary kitchen. This area was mostly dull to begin with, our customer wanted to add a glam effect to their kitchen.
Our showroom personnel quickly grabbed glass tiles (because they are the best at holding light and bouncing it around the room). We leaned towards the white-gray smoked looked pictured here and threw in an accent strip to help visually bind this bright look to the appliances and cabinet hardware.
We even added a little more pizzazz to the job by incorporating the use of Sparkle Grout. Check out Part 2 of this photo to see a close up of what we are talking about.

Newly renovated contemporary kitchen blends with transitional great room in a very traditional home on the North Shore of Chicago. Custom designed marble topped table rests on concrete base. Mosaic glass bowl chandelier hangs above. French limestone fireplace surround was custom designed by a local company. The light from adjacent Lake Michigan bounces off the ribbed glass cabinets.

For a room with this much light, a dark colored kitchen, like this luxurious upgrade on Mid-Century Modern design, presents a striking contrast. The light in the room majestically bounces off the shiny and polished laminate wood grain cabinets, adding an even bigger statement to this bold arrangement.

We created this glorious retreat for our homeowners, who live with 3 kids, 2 giant golden retrievers, and 2 cats. After assessing the Feng Shui and coming up with a design plan, we designed a serene space that encouraged romance and peace.
The Carrara marble in the main bathroom is timeless, and really bounces the light around. We used all British faucets, sinks, and a soaking tub, complete with English tub filler.
The deal was, the husband got a huge walk-in shower, and his wife got her bathtub. Everyone is happy!

The Master Bedroom needed some wow factor. Again looked at historical chinoiserie styles and we opted for a patterned organic wallpaper to bring a modern twist. A new oversized bed & headboard was created in a neutral coloured crush velvet Some existing mirrored furniture was perfect as bedside tables and the find of an old oversized mirror helped to bounce both light and pattern around the room. Coving was repaired and bought back to life.

Natural and can light bounce and reflect off every surface. Our eyes are drawn up the chimney vent hood. This kitchen has been transformed into a Clean beautiful and functional workspace.
