Located in Old Seagrove, FL, this 1980's beach house was is steps away from the beach and a short walk from Seaside Square. Working with local general contractor, Corestruction, the existing 3 bedroom and 3 bath house was completely remodeled. Additionally, 3 more bedrooms and bathrooms were constructed over the existing garage and kitchen, staying within the original footprint. This modern coastal design focused on maximizing light and creating a comfortable and inviting home to accommodate large families vacationing at the beach. The large backyard was completely overhauled, adding a pool, limestone pavers and turf, to create a relaxing outdoor living space.

A custom white oak vanity was designed for this couple's en-suite and instead of two sinks, we designed two tall vertical storage units on each end to maximize their storage. The warm, aged brass hardware, mirror, wall sconces and fixtures all feel warm and mellow in the space - almost blending in with the oak. Irregular concrete floor tiles were laid in a herringbone pattern to bring texture and interest into the room quietly. A serene master en-suite in soft pale blues and taupes. The wall tile looks like wallpaper when you first look at it with a hint of Indian influence in the design motifs. Designed by: Stephanie Houghton, principal partner at Emily Griffin Design.

This stunning kitchen remodel blends timeless elegance with modern functionality, anchored by a large statement island that serves as both a prep space and gathering hub. Topped with sleek white quartz countertops, the island offers generous workspace while adding a bright contrast to the rich, dark cabinetry.
Brass accents are carried throughout the space—from cabinet hardware to the faucet—bringing warmth and a refined, upscale feel. Overhead, a glamorous crystal chandelier adds a touch of sophistication and visual interest, elevating the kitchen beyond purely functional into a true showpiece.
Luxury appliances complete the design, offering high-performance cooking capabilities while seamlessly integrating into the cabinetry for a clean, cohesive look. The result is a kitchen that feels both elevated and inviting—perfect for everyday living and entertaining alike.

The alder has a clear satin finish to had a little sheen but still show the detail of the wood.
