When designing the entry, we wanted to make it feel like this young family of five had lived in this home forever. Placing this vintage console table against the wall, we provided a place to drop your keys, check your make-up and store shoes. Besides being just functional, this entry is also beautiful as we styled the console with a variety of found objects (i.e. vintage pickle jar, demijohn, coral, and silver heirloom trays). We wanted this entry to have character and soul.

The kitchen cabinets were painted with white chalk paint and new countertops along with stainless applicances modernized this cottage kitchen.

This wood stained Bombay chest was given a fresh makeover when we completed a distressed chalk paint finish. Additionally, we distressed the raised elements of the chest with antiqued gold leafing, to further enhance these beautiful elements. Copyright © 2016 The Artists Hands

The window wall was the most desirable location of the cabinet to avoid water on the window if shower had been on outside wall. Also inside wall was designed for shower for warmth while showering.
