It takes inspiration from the Moorish style of Andalusian architecture and it is characterised by its severe and essential lines. The empty spaces, created by the particular making of the yarn, bring to mind the arches of the Palace of Carlos V in Granada. A touch of Spain in your house.

From Architect Elizabeth Herrmann:
"Characterized by sculptural, offset boxes, the form of the building is playful in appearance but also practical. The shifting volumes shape interior and exterior spaces. Upper overhangs create much-needed space while enabling us to utilize the old pool house’s foundation. Contrasting siding–two types of charred and pigmented cypress (aka shou sugi ban or yakisugi)– highlights the interplay of forms. Strategically placed large windows frame mountain views, guide with daylight, help define interior nooks, and provide overlooks to the pool area. Two large, sliding doors at the pool side of the house allow for easy indoor/outdoor flow. Integrated fully within the house form is a shaded outdoor grille area with plenty of space for food preparation and serving–neatly tucked away but convenient. Pool equipment and storage are also fully integrated into the structure and out-of-view."

As the name indicates, a Vintage style bathroom is inspired by a romantic old world style. This style is characterized by a natural, weathered look combined with a botanical color palette and painted or decorated furniture style vanity. Finding the right roll top footed bathtub will set the tone for this bathroom. Accents of weathered metal and wicker with bright spots of color taken fresh from the garden put the finishing touches on this style.

Transforming a primary bathroom into a tranquil retreat often begins with integrating sleek, modern elements. The inclusion of a walk-in shower adorned with linen drain accents not only adds functionality but also exudes sophistication. Pairing this with elegant pendant lights creates an ambiance of refined luxury, elevating the space into a haven of relaxation. The modern style, characterized by clean lines and minimalist design, further enhances the overall aesthetic, ensuring a harmonious balance of form and function. This fusion of elements results in a primary bathroom that is not only stylish but also exudes a serene ambiance, perfect for unwinding after a long day.

a modern Southwestern-style home with a clean, white stucco exterior. The home is characterized by a red tile roof, a dark wood garage door, and a pergola over the front entrance. The landscaping includes a stone driveway, desert plants, and a few cacti. The overall aesthetic is sophisticated and relaxed, reflecting the desert environment.

LE CUCINE ASTRA Wood Line Collection a design that marries contemporary style and advanced functional solutions in a Proposal characterized by strong chrome contrast and unmistakably details....

The broad stroke design of this home harkens to sap houses and agricultural structures of the Northeast which inspired the inclusion of a clerestory, cylindrical silo-like stairwell, and site-harvested stone. It was important for the family of five to have a central living space that felt settled and intimate while being able to host guests. The resulting 36’ x 36’ great room is characterized by its “circle in a square” frame that is the core to the overall basket-like structure. Lower volumes are created, and dimensionality is woven in with arched timber brackets and curving lines. The curves and arches were realized with a combination of double sawn solid timbers and grain-matched glulams
