The homeowners were seeking a major renovation from their original master bath. The young family had completed several remodeling projects on the first floor of their 1980’s era home and the time had finally come where they wanted to focus on the second floor, particularly their master bath which was cramped and overpowered by a Jacuzzi-style tub. After multiple design meetings spent choosing the right hardware and materials, everything was set, and the transformation began! Drury designer, Diana Burton, began by borrowing some space from the bedroom this way they were able to reconfigure the whole layout, which made a big difference to the homeowner. The floating vanity cabinets paired with quartz counters, wall-mounted fixtures, and mirrors featuring built-in lighting enhance the room’s sleek, clean look.

This family getaway was built with entertaining and guests in mind, so the expansive Bootroom was designed with great flow to be a catch-all space essential for organization of equipment and guests. Integrated ski racks on the porch railings outside provide space for guests to park their gear. Covered entry has a metal floor grate, boot brushes, and boot kicks to clean snow off. Inside, ski racks line the wall beside a work bench, providing the perfect space to store skis, boards, and equipment, as well as the ideal spot to wax up before hitting the slopes. Around the corner are individual wood lockers, labeled for family members and usual guests. A custom-made hand-scraped wormwood bench takes the central display – protected with clear epoxy to preserve the look of holes while providing a waterproof and smooth surface. Wooden boot and glove dryers are positioned at either end of the room, these custom units feature sturdy wooden dowels to hold any equipment, and powerful fans mean that everything will be dry after lunch break. The Bootroom is finished with naturally aged wood wainscoting, rescued from a lumber storage field, and the large rail topper provides a perfect ledge for small items while pulling on freshly dried boots. Large wooden baseboards offer protection for the wall against stray equipment.

We designed this built in hall tree to maximize a mud room space. The espresso brown and cream coloring is as practical as it is stylish. The 4 individual sections help each family member own and organize a space. Under-seat storage space for shoes and boots keeps clutter under control. The top shelf for hats and gloves can also be filled with a basket, labeled for each person's name, or with the contents within.

Dark honed granite tops the island with rustic alder cabinets. Upper cabinets float above the dual-level island that houses the stove and commercial grade ice maker. To give a clean look, the granite continues as a backsplash with outlets located only under the cabinets. The upper cabinets are suspended from the ceiling, which had to be reinforced, by steel pipes that also conceal wiring for the LED under cabinet and in cabinet lighting and under cabinet receptacle power strips. Custom glass shelves and doors in the upper cabinets help to define the dining area from the kitchen while allowing light to filter through. The opposite island contains the sink, dishwasher and an in cabinet microwave drawer. The oversize granite top extends past the cabinets, allowing for casual seating adjacent to the Great Room. Both islands are faced with pre-cast stone that repeats the natural elements of the exterior. Exposed beams with historic warehouse flooring is utilized as the kitchen/dining room ceiling and also the 2nd floor loft/bedroom/bathroom flooring. Since both sides are visible, all planks on the underside had to be individually sanded and hand finished before hidden deck fastener installation. Utilizing the same material as the ceiling, a chase was constructed to allow sub contractors to supply electric, ventilation and the sound system. Cable lighting provides a minimalist look without obstructing any views.

One of our favorite clients requested our services once again, this time to update their outdated full bath. The main goal, aside from keeping the existing tub and surround in place, was to replace the tired vanity, small medicine cabinet, countertop, sink, flooring, light fixture, shower valve and trims with products that are more on trend. The desire was to create a wow factor and display their personal style. Designing a bath with transitional finishes and a clean aesthetic was top of mind when we selected a white painted inset-style vanity, contrasting marble-look quartz countertop in suede finish and classic 3” x 6” white subway wall tiles. Tying together different patterns and incorporating 8” x 8” black and white deco floor tiles provides an interesting and refreshing industrial look that is an expression of our client’s individuality and style. Adding to this industrial style feature was the double light fixture with clear seeded glass mounted over the new framed recessed medicine cabinet with matching painted finish. Also, a priority in the remodeling process was to provide proper ventilation to not only keep air moving, but to ensure moisture is cleared from the room while showering. This newly remodeled updated bathroom is light and airy, and clients are thrilled with the result. “Hi Cathy, I just wanted to let you know how pleased we are with our bathrooms and stairs!! Designed by Bilotta’s Fabrice Garson, this expansive traditional kitchen features our private Bilotta Collection Cabinetry in white paint with double stacked wall cabinets leading up to the coffered ceiling. The massive island houses multiple appliances, including a warming drawer, microwave and dishwasher next to the main sink, as well as large drawers for ample storage. Island seating allows for less formal dining or a place for the children to do their homework while mom prepares dinner. Two wall ovens flanking the 48” Wolf range top create a perfect cooking “nook” and the side-by-side fully integrated 36” Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer allow for plenty of food storage. On either side of the refrigeration are two tall pull-out pantries concealing snacks, spices, baking supplies and more. Every drawer in the space has its individual purpose, whether it be to house cutlery or fine china. The coffered ceiling, a trademark of many of Fabrice’s designs, really open up the space and intertwine it with the adjacent rooms for an overall open feeling – very bright and inviting. The wall on the other side of the island from the cooking wall features a secondary prep sink with a second dishwasher and a under counter beverage center, again, with plenty of storage in both the base and wall cabinets. The backsplash is mostly wood paneling except for the wall behind the range top where there is a custom designed marble mosaic pattern.
