This garden takes advantage of the chimney tops and attics spaces of the urban landscape of the Back Bay- we refer to it as "Mary-Poppinsville". Split in to two areas- seating and dinning/cooking. shrubs, perennials, annuals, and edibles including: herbs, tomatoes, The client is a gourmet chef and uses the foods in his cooking. With limited space, the most popular edible plants that clients ask for are tomatoes and herbs because the herbs can be used in daily cooking and theres nothing to compare to the homegrown tomato. Where space is generous, we also plant blueberries strawberries, raspberries, lettuces, peppers.

Craftsman style house opens up for better connection and more contemporary living. Removing a wall between the kitchen and dinning room and reconfiguring the stair layout allowed for more usable space and better circulation through the home. The double dormer addition upstairs allowed for a true Master Suite, complete with steam shower!

Location: Atlanta, Georgia - Historical Inman Park
Scope: This home was a new home we developed and built in Atlanta, GA. This was built to fit into the historical neighborhood. This family room is meant to appear like an addition to the "original" home, which is in fact also new. This space is designed more within the modern farmhouse feel, compared to the rest of the home.. The wood on the fireplace is from our sustainable woods program and is from a downed white oak tree. The table is made from a repurposed wooden cart. The room also looks out onto the pool, which is not visible from this angle. Please see other photos to see the relationship.
High performance / green building certifications: EPA Energy Star Certified Home, EarthCraft Certified Home - Gold, NGBS Green Certified Home - Gold, Department of Energy Net Zero Ready Home, GA Power Earthcents Home, EPA WaterSense Certified Home. The home achieved a 50 HERS rating.

This was a project done for a client who wanted art pieces for her cabin bathroom in the San Juan Islands. She brought paint swatches and materials and did a lot of comparing before deciding on these pieces. She was very pleased with the outcome.

20 years ago, the previous owners added a complete primary suite onto the original house. The addition provided lots of extra space in the bedroom but compromised the closet and bathroom, which were both comparatively quite small. To reallocate some space, we broke up the large bedroom to make a few distinct rooms, including a closet, a bathroom with a walk-in tile shower, and a double vanity.
