Karen Berkemeyer Home has been designing kitchens and baths for over 30 years and is dedicated to providing a true “one stop” experience. Each of our designers can provide a customer with design expertise that incorporates custom cabinetry, tile & stone, plumbing fixtures and countertops. Karen has assembled a talented team of dedicated, enthusiastic and creative designers who have extensive cabinetry, tile and plumbing knowledge. They each have a comprehensive understanding of construction realities so that selections always meet expectations and timelines. Designers and customers meet in an ideal showroom space where product selections are made from a carefully curated collection of cabinetry, tile, stone, countertops and plumbing at a range of price points. VanderHorn Architects

We recently designed a large new home in Watch Hill, RI. When we needed a design partner to assist with our tile and marble, Karen Berkemeyer Home was our choice. Working with the talented Mary-Beth Oliver was a pleasure. She worked closely with our client and us to help filter the huge number of choices. The result is pallet of new and fun materials that complement our design and create a cohesive and fresh look!

Couldn't be happier with the design created and materials choices that KB Home helped me select. We gutted an existing 50 year old bathroom which serves as both a powder room and a family/guest bath. I have worked with Iris Michaels to renovate my kitchen in 2008 and my master bathroom most recently in 2015. Iris is a joy to work with and she always brings thoughtful ideas to every project we have worked on together. She is one-stop shopping from creative design work to selecting tiles, marble and bathroom hardware. I would not use anyone else for a kitchen or bathroom renovation!

I've worked exclusively with Iris Michaels for approximately 4 years on 3 spec homes in Rye, NY Iris knows how to work within a budget and understands what is trending as the market changes. Of course this couldn't be possible without Karen's keen eye for detail and how quickly the cabinet and tile trends move, so she is constantly bringing in the newest, and greatest selection of materials. Iris' design style has been praised by the real estate community in Rye and my end users. We are currently working on 2 new projects. Great folks to work with. Highly recommend and am in the business for 18 years.

Mary-Beth, the designer I worked with, was great at listening to what I wanted and making helpful suggestions. Great follow-up with detailed drawings. This place is a pleasure to do business with.

Karen Berkemeyer Home has beautiful tile in all price ranges. The staff are credentialed designers, extremely professional and talented. I worked with Iris Michaels who offered beautiful design choices within my budget. Individualized attention and customer service were provided by both Iris and Cindy, the manager. Kudos to Cindy who went above and beyond to minimize some of my renovation woes.
