Like the rest of the home, this moody main bedroom boats many different elements that come together so perfectly. A beaded geometric wall covering was applied to the head wall as the main feature of this space. A custom leather headboard and bed frame sit atop a hair on hide area rug that grounds the space with its small woven pattern and charcoal, black and light gray tones. A brass pendant light with extended arm allows for the glass globe to hang just above the three-drawer nightstand. The Aerius - Modern Craftsman in Ridgefield Washington by Cascade West Development Inc. Upon opening the 8ft tall door and entering the foyer an immediate display of light, color and energy is presented to us in the form of 13ft coffered ceilings, abundant natural lighting and an ornate glass chandelier. Beckoning across the hall an entrance to the Great Room is beset by the Master Suite, the Den, a central stairway to the Upper Level and a passageway to the 4-bay Garage and Guest Bedroom with attached bath. Advancement to the Great Room reveals massive, built-in vertical storage, a vast area for all manner of social interactions and a bountiful showcase of the forest scenery that allows the natural splendor of the outside in. The sleek corner-kitchen is composed with elevated countertops. These additional 4in create the perfect fit for our larger-than-life homeowner and make stooping and drooping a distant memory. Example of an eclectic home design design in Austin

We used a unique palate of materials to compose this one of a kind personal resort for our clients. They wanted a contemporary home that utilized regional materials and expressed the Southwest, but in a fresh new way. There is a surprise around every corner in this home as it meanders across the entire site. We collaborated with Joyce Crawford, and Charles Glover for interiors, and Wendy LeSeuer for Landscape design.

The kitchen is the focal point of the home. A central gathering place with plenty of space to move around. The island is has dark gray cabinetry with a marble countertop and undercounted seating. The surrounding cabinets are white with a gray quartz countertop. The backsplash is composed of vertically stacked tiles capped with white oak open shelving. Interior Design by Amy Terranova.

This was a gut remodel of a 1950’s 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1200-square-foot home. The main house was composed of two bedrooms with one bathroom, and a separate studio unit with a full bathroom was located in the backyard. The new owners, a family of 4, wanted to remove the studio unit and increase the square footage of the main house to include a new master suite, family room, and powder room while leaving enough space for the possible addition of a pool in the backyard down the road. We also expanded the kitchen and remodeled the kids’ shared bathroom. White Sands advised during the architectural stage of the project to perfect the layout and ensure enough space was carved out for the new kitchen, family room, and master bedroom. We designed a modified galley kitchen with a large eat-in island in the center. Custom cabinetry was key in making the layout work. To provide ample storage, we created a European-style larder pantry, which is flanked by full-height glass hutches and appliance garages to keep countertop gadgets concealed. The family room is anchored by a new fireplace, complete with custom built-ins flanking each side. The client’s goal for the overall aesthetic is very simple, classic coastal cottage. They wanted cutesy charm. They did not want anything fussy or fancy, requesting selections to be pared down and approachable. All tile and counter finishes selected were in timeless shapes and color palettes. We brought in color and personality with the accessories- cabinet hardware, mirrors, wallcoverings, and styling accessories.

Custom built Corten steel planters stair step down the slope. Grid patterns tie into the windows and architecture of the home, while ornamental grasses and native shrubs soften the spaces. A small Kentucky Blue Grass lawn allows for play, while larger grass areas are composed of drought tolerant Blue Grama Grass.

On the left side we can find the man closet. This is made in a modular way, and lacquered in finish blue oil. Its steel hangers are adjustable according to the height of the subject. The furniture also has a cabinet with drawers lined with orange skin. The men's shoes storage is composed of shelves which allow to separate the shoes for an every day use from the most stylish shoes to wear on special occasions .

When this young couple bought their dream home, their dream kitchen seemed completely out of reach. With only minor updates to the floor plan but major updates to the finishes, the kitchen was transformed into a sleek and modern space that the whole family could enjoy.
