The legs were hand turned from local Cooper Landing, Alaska birch. All wood joinery construction except for table clips used to secure the top surface to allow for wood movement. Finished with water based polyurethane.

This colorful room was created for a young man to have a space to study, play games, music, and entertain his friends. The LED lighting changes color and has pre-programmed patterns. The coffee table is also a refrigerator and charging station. The computer workstation is also a charging station. the stripes of the banded black shade mimic the stripe of the area rug.

This family of 5 was quickly out-growing their 1,220sf ranch home on a beautiful corner lot. Rather than adding a 2nd floor, the decision was made to extend the existing ranch plan into the back yard, adding a new 2-car garage below the new space - for a new total of 2,520sf. With a previous addition of a 1-car garage and a small kitchen removed, a large addition was added for Master Bedroom Suite, a 4th bedroom, hall bath, and a completely remodeled living, dining and new Kitchen, open to large new Family Room. The new lower level includes the new Garage and Mudroom. The existing fireplace and chimney remain - with beautifully exposed brick. The homeowners love contemporary design, and finished the home with a gorgeous mix of color, pattern and materials. The project was completed in 2011. Unfortunately, 2 years later, they suffered a massive house fire. The house was then rebuilt again, using the same plans and finishes as the original build, adding only a secondary laundry closet on the main level.

Duplex Y is located in a multi apartment building, typical to the Carmel mountain neighborhoods. The building has several entrances due to the slope it sits on. Duplex Y has its own separate entrance and a beautiful view towards Haifa bay and the Golan Heights that can be seen on a clear weather day. The client - a computer high-tech couple, with their two small daughters asked us for a simple and functional design that could remind them of their frequent visits to central and northern Europe. Their request has been accepted. Our planning approach was simple indeed, maybe even simple in a radical way: We followed the principle of clean and ultra minimal spaces, that serve their direct mission only. Complicated geometry of the rooms has been simplified by implementing built-in wood furniture into numerous niches. The most 'complicated' room (due to its broken geometry, narrow proportions and sloped ceiling) has been turned into a kid's room shaped as a clean 'wood box' for fun, games and 'edutainment'. The storage room has been refurbished to maximize it's purpose by creating enough space to store 90% of the entire family's demand. We've tried to avoid unnecessary decoration. 97% of the design has its functional use in addition to its atmospheric qualities. The deep blueberry wall gives a wonderful contrast against the coral chest and white classic cabinetry. The large bulletin board allows each child to show off their current art while the function of the bookshelves and cabinets allows for complete organization. Comfortable desk chairs and unique furnishings adds a level of sophistication for this fun family.

This home office is in an Arctic White finish with a silver track and accessories for office supplies. We also maximized the space of this area by adding shelving in the nooks on either side.
