A new pool house structure for a young family, featuring a space for family gatherings and entertaining. The highlight of the structure is the featured 2 sliding glass walls, which opens the structure directly to the adjacent pool deck. The space also features a fireplace, indoor kitchen, and bar seating with additional flip-up windows.

The large pool deck is finished in premium acid washed concrete to provide the look of limestone. Extra thick natural limestone coping in a bullnose finish was chosen for its pleasing proportion with the large the pool. The classic diagonal grass inserts in the deck utilize artificial turf to ensure a continuous manicured look.

This custom swimming pool features a unique outdoor bar area with top of the line outdoor kitchen appliances. The beautiful swimming pool features several bowl water features, a custom fire bowl feature, and copper scuppers surrounded by dry-stack stone.

Our client wanted a modern industrial style of backyard and we designed and build this outdoor environment to their excitement. Features include a new pool with precast concrete water feature wall that blends into a precast concrete firepit, an Ipe wood deck, custom steel and Ipe wood arbor and trellis and a precast concrete kitchen. Our clients had a poured concrete pool deck that was cracking and looked awful. Without having to demo the pool deck, we were able to use a remodel paver and remodel pool coping to give them a beautiful pool deck again.

The focal point of this yard is an 18’ x 51.5’ custom Gunite pool with glass-walled spa and shallow steppingstone path. In the shallow end a spacious 9’ x 18’ tanning shelf is a great place to relax. The handy shade umbrella can be adjusted to give you just the right amount of direct sun.

The pool is the epitome of simplicity with the walls on the spa and ravine sides acting as perimeter overflow surfaces for smooth sheets of water falling into troughs and recirculating back to the spa and pool. The sound of falling water is soothing while the zero edge profiles create the effect of an infinity horizon.

Inspiration for a modern pool remodel in New Orleans

This massive infinity pool takes full advantage of its rugged Muskoka surroundings. Tons upon tons of granite were moved to create this spectacular show of stone and water. A 22-ft tempered glass spill wall, augmented by large slabs of granite, enables the flow of water to create an infinity edge. To appreciate the relative size, the lower catch basin holds the volume of a normal swimming pool. An additional touch of luxury is a large cabana providing a covered lounge area, change room and bathroom. (main pool: 35 x 50, custom free form)
