The laundry room in London's apartment is a small, but essential space. It is located near the kitchen and is equipped with a washer and dryer. The room has enough space for laundry supplies and some storage. The walls are painted in a light blue color, which gives the room a calm and fresh atmosphere. Despite its small size, the laundry room is a convenient place to do laundry without having to leave the apartment. It is also a great spot to air-dry clothes or hang them up after ironing. Overall, the laundry room in London's apartment is a practical and functional space that makes laundry day a little less daunting.

A typical post-1906 Noe Valley house is simultaneously restored, expanded and redesigned to keep what works and rethink what doesn’t. The front façade, is scraped and painted a crisp monochrome white—it worked. The new asymmetrical gabled rear addition takes the place of a windowless dead end box that didn’t. A “Great kitchen”, open yet formally defined living and dining rooms, a generous master suite, and kid’s rooms with nooks and crannies, all make for a newly designed house that straddles old and new. This kitchen had the old laundry room in the corner and there was no pantry. We converted the old laundry into a pantry/laundry combination. The hand carved travertine farm sink is the focal point of this beautiful new kitchen. Notice the clean backsplash with no electrical outlets. All of the electrical outlets, switches and lights are under the cabinets leaving the uninterrupted backslash. The rope lighting on top of the cabinets adds a nice ambiance or night light.
