This remodel project includes three bedrooms, staircase, two full bathrooms, and closets including two walk-in closets. Plenty of storage space is included in each vanity along with plenty of lighting using sconce lights. Three carpeted bedrooms with corresponding closets. Master bedroom with his and hers walk-in closets, master bathroom with double vanity and standing shower and separate toilet room. Bathrooms includes hardwood flooring. Shared bathroom includes double vanity. New second floor includes carpet throughout second floor and staircase.

Classic diamond checkered tile floors underlay this breathtaking walnut kitchen. Intricate details of this space correspond to craft a profoundly elegant style - warm bronze hardware highlights the richness of the dark walnut cabinetry, custom island leg posts, matching marbled countertops and backsplash, and base molding details. A walk-in pantry is connected via a lovely arch and open shelving and an accent wall of full-height white cabinets creates a gentle contrast to the kitchen's lovely browns and predominantly base cabinets.

The guest bedrooms continue the soft, textural theme and each of their corresponding bathrooms feature custom faucets and unique architectural details.

Complete reconstruction of family house was inspired by elegant French style. The city house decorated in mainly bright colours connects concrete with wood and industrial parts with furniture from all over the world. There were several major changes made during the reconstruction: The old staircase was repealed and there was created a new one, elegant, on a completely different place, which better corresponds with the central open space. In the lower part of the house there is a kitchen connected with a living room, so it resulted in a creation of one large living space, dominated by a new double-sided fireplace with a concrete trowel set in a load-bearing central support. Our client’s charming cottage was no longer meeting the needs of their family. We needed to give them more space but not lose the quaint characteristics that make this little historic home so unique. So we didn’t go up, and we didn’t go wide, instead we took this master suite addition straight out into the backyard and maintained 100% of the original historic façade. Master Suite This master suite is truly a private retreat. We were able to create a variety of zones in this suite to allow room for a good night’s sleep, reading by a roaring fire, or catching up on correspondence. The fireplace became the real focal point in this suite. Wrapped in herringbone whitewashed wood planks and accented with a dark stone hearth and wood mantle, we can’t take our eyes off this beauty. With its own private deck and access to the backyard, there is really no reason to ever leave this little sanctuary. Master Bathroom The master bathroom meets all the homeowner’s modern needs but has plenty of cozy accents that make it feel right at home in the rest of the space. A natural wood vanity with a mixture of brass and bronze metals gives us the right amount of warmth, and contrasts beautifully with the off-white floor tile and its vintage hex shape. Now the shower is where we had a little fun, we introduced the soft matte blue/green tile with satin brass accents, and solid quartz floor (do you see those veins?!). And the commode room is where we had a lot fun, the leopard print wallpaper gives us all lux vibes (rawr!) and pairs just perfectly with the hex floor tile and vintage door hardware. Hall Bathroom We wanted the hall bathroom to drip with vintage charm as well but opted to play with a simpler color palette in this space. We utilized black and white tile with fun patterns (like the little boarder on the floor) and kept this room feeling crisp and bright.

Wanting to ensure accessibility and functionality of their new home, the homeowners opted to include both a home elevator and dumbwaiter into their design. The elevator pairs fully automatic, sleek, stainless steel side sliding doors with anodized aluminum fixtures. Not only adding style but nearly “hands free” access to every level of the home. The cab’s interior was custom finished by the general contractor to match the home’s modern simplicity design. The floor-loading dumbwaiter allows for heavier items to be transported with more ease from the wine cellar to the main floor. The stainless-steel finish and corresponding fixtures tie in flawlessly with the elevator and the decor of the home. This Modern Marvel will make the perfect home for multigeneration living for years to come.

After: This bathroom turned out beautifully! 12x12 porcelain tile graces the shower walls, with a corresponding mosaic border. Brushed nickel accessories accompanied with a clean quartz countertop polish the space. The wood style tile flooring matches well with the wall tile. Before the final edition, each item is produced in a trial version, which must be approved by the designer of the space. So that the implementation had an exact correspondence with the visualizations that the customer liked. Author’s ceramic tile FLAPJACK, lamps VULYK, MAKIVKA ICE, and a custom-made washbasin — all from MAKHNO Product. By the way, all the bathrooms of this project have MAKHNO sinks. This is a new branch of our product design development. We are currently creating custom versions for our customers’ projects, but will soon release a collection for individual sales.
