With so much surface area of modern houses dedicated to windows, having control over energy efficiency and privacy is an absolute must. Plantation shutters are the most energy-efficient window treatments available, and can even be installed on those aforementioned sliding glass doors and transom windows. For full-wall windows, shutters offer even more freedom in window coverage since you can open and shut individual sets of louvers, rather than having to pull a whole drapery over your window.

Phillip Crocker Photography The Decadent Adult Retreat! Bar, Wine Cellar, 3 Sports TV's, Pool Table, Fireplace and Exterior Hot Tub. A custom bar was designed my McCabe Design & Interiors to fit the homeowner's love of gathering with friends and entertaining whilst enjoying great conversation, sports tv, or playing pool. The original space was reconfigured to allow for this large and elegant bar. Beside it, and easily accessible for the homeowner bartender is a walk-in wine cellar. Custom millwork was designed and built to exact specifications including a routered custom design on the curved bar. A two-tiered bar was created to allow preparation on the lower level. Across from the bar, is a sitting area and an electric fireplace. Three tv's ensure maximum sports coverage. Lighting accents include slims, led puck, and rope lighting under the bar. A sonas and remotely controlled lighting finish this entertaining haven.

This contemporary family room was lacking some finishing touches, The homeowner wished to dress the two story window to add some softness to the room. We've come up with a design to create another focal point to take the eyes off of the scale of the window and fill the empty, horizontal space between the two rows of windows. Simple, unlined, linen drapery panels beautifully framed the tall window and brought softness to the entire room and the rustic wall art pieces created a pleasing focal point. DRAPES & DECOR

Pool - large modern backyard concrete pool idea in Other

Our clients wanted the dramatic look of a pergola for their kitchen with additional coverage for shade and protection from rain, too. A pergola over a specific section sets off that area and defines it as an outdoor room. As you may know, some pergolas provide more shade than others. It all depends on the pergola design. This large two-beam pergola, attached to the house, is designed for shade with purlins that are close together. The pergola also has a translucent cover that filters UV rays, blocks heat, and shields the outdoor kitchen from rain.
