Extraordinary impressions of the old world were created in this Tuscan-style home. Stucco exterior walls and wrought iron fixtures give a handmade, rustic look that exemplifies the architectural style. The plaster interior walls, artfully crafted, embrace the home's romance with the past. Their surface is a blend of colors created on site with a wax patina applied to some of the walls. The remarkable feeling of elegant antiquity is aided by the home's floors, which were created from reclaimed wood. Our carpenters gave the large beams in the great room and kitchen a rustic radiance through modern distressing techniques.

Our Long Island studio designed this stunning home with bright neutrals and classic pops to create a warm, welcoming home with modern amenities. In the kitchen, we chose a blue and white theme and added leather high chairs to give it a classy appeal. Sleek pendants add a hint of elegance. In the dining room, comfortable chairs with chequered upholstery create a statement. We added a touch of drama by painting the ceiling a deep aubergine. AJI also added a sitting space with a comfortable couch and chairs to bridge the kitchen and the main living space. The family room was designed to create maximum space for get-togethers with a comfy sectional and stylish swivel chairs. The unique wall decor creates interesting pops of color. In the master suite upstairs, we added walk-in closets and a twelve-foot-long window seat. The exquisite en-suite bathroom features a stunning freestanding tub for relaxing after a long day.

PBA was brought in to solve many issues throughout the first floor of this home, the most pressing of which was to create a larger and more functional kitchen. After examining several options, the decision was made to create a narrow addition to the side of the house which allowed the design to meet all of the clients objectives. The floor plan was also opened up to allow for entertaining, and a long corridor was enhanced with trim-work to visually break up the length of the corridor, including the creation of a focal point wall at the end of the corridor. Other renovations included a new mud room, and a guest bathroom and awkwardly proportioned music room were completely reconfigured to create a formal powder room, a significantly improved guest bathroom, and a more intimate music room / sitting room. Dining room - 1960s dining room idea in San Francisco

The homeowner was looking for a lot more space in a very small bathroom. In order to overcome the room’s lack of any kind of storage the oversized tub was replaced with a shower bench and multiple niches for shampoos. Additional cabinetry storage was created by wrapping the vanity cabinets around a wall and creating tall linen cabinets in an area that had not been used before. Floating vanity under cabinet lights and a special wall lit mirror helped to open up the small space. Large format Porcelenosa Ston-ker Ferroker floor tiles and field tiles in the color Aluminio were used on the floors and vanity wall. Special attention was paid to the geometric layout of the horizontal lines of the entire layout – walnut vertical grained cabinetry, wall and floor tiles to create visual space to the room. A Nu-heat heated floor added to the comfort of the room.
