This home office was created from an outbuilding on the property. Seagrass wall-to-wall carpet was installed for ultimate durability and a relaxed vibe. We employed a high-low aesthetic to create a space that was unique but still within budget, utilizing the owner's Stickley desk, a custom desk chair, custom blush Roman shades, a Hudson Valley Fenwater chandelier and sconces, and multiple office items from budget sources like IKEA and The Container Store. The ceiling is painted Quicksand and walls and trim in White Dove by Benjamin Moore. Photo by Sabrina Cole Quinn Photography.

These are Windswept Bronze Cabinets. This customer was looking for as much storage as possible. By using a blind door, we were able to use this whole corner and work

During the day, it’s a hardworking office and conference room but come sundown, it’s easily transformed into a comfortable dining room. Function and aesthetics influenced the design of the custom cabinetry allowing the table to tuck under the countertop for a more flexible work/live space. Innovative magnetic cabinet doors double as office organizer and/or gallery wall.

This was a fun challenge to build a kid friendly door for the play closet. The top and bottom panels are chalkboard, while the middle panel is magnetic. The trim and blocks used are repurposed from an old farmhouse.

This playroom in Charlotte, North Carolina, was designed to grow with the family, balancing gross motor, imaginative, and sensory play for both a baby and a five-year-old. Key features include a custom-built two-story indoor fort that makes use of architectural nooks, and a custom-sized foam pit with a monkey bar ladder. Wall-mounted toys like a magnet wall and busy board support sensory play, while the art corner offers built-in storage and a playful, functional design. The vibrant color palette, inspired by a whimsical elephant-print fabric, combines primary colors with modern sophistication. The playroom serves as a daily retreat, offering an escape during the hot summers and rainy days, and continues to be a favorite space for the family.

Kitchen design and remodel with black and white cabinetry, gray and white leathered quartzite countertop and slab backsplash, a marble niche, polished nickel fixtures and a butcher block walnut, Sub-Zero Wolf gas range top, stainless steel double oven, and refrigerator. Nearby fireplace has a newly designed mantel, tile surround and hearth, and painted to match black kitchen cabinetry.

Here the customer recently had steam radiators recessed into the wall. She was looking for a cover to spruce up the installation. The profile of the existing baseboard needed to be cut into the cover. The cover is attached to the wall with magnets to allow easy access to the radiator.

This kitchen was fun to design as the area had a few structural pieces that the customer could not move and wanted to mask. The slatted base cabinet fronts are magnetic radiator covers.

A great view of the custom built playhouse. This structure features all the elements of an outdoor play structure, including two slides, monkey bars, mini rock climbing wall, a swing and a "trapeze bar" / ring combo.
The left "cabin" has a set of cedar stairs that allow access to the upper deck and bridge to the upper deck of the right "cabin"
The left cabin features a light switch which turns all the 12V DC lighting in each cabin on or off. It also has a cedar staircase to the upper level, a PVC "sound pipe" that allows two people to talk into it, a magnetic board for play magnets, access to the ball pit slide, and a cool "button box" that is programmed with different animal noises depending on which button is pressed.
The right cabin is a combination kitchen / grocery store and puppet show area and contains all the related toys and details expected in such an area.
The bamboo siding edges and corners are sourced from Texture Plus, who specialize in faux siding materials.
