Our coffee loving client really only had two requests! And that was to ensure he had a proper display for his coffee machinery, and a waterfall island! He entrusted us with the other details! By selecting a versatile LVP and bringing the cabinets up closer to the ceiling, we achieved a grander look. Crisp white and deep blue cabinetry paired with a clean white quartz and geometric backsplash brought this kitchen up to date. Finally, touches of walnut and mixed metals added a touch of class.

Von Tobel kitchen & bath designer, Amanda Szamatowicz, transformed this dated kitchen into a Tuscan getaway using Kraftmaid Vanderbilt Cherry cabinets in Cannon Grey, countertops of Vicostone Florence Gold, and finished the space with a grougrous backsplash from Paramount in Havana Malecon 4x8 size. Our client requested a design that reflected their need to renovate their dated bathroom into a transitional floor plan that would provide accessibility and function. The new shower design consists of a pony wall with a glass enclosure that has beautiful details of brushed nickel square glass clamps. The interior shower fittings entail geometric lines that lend a contemporary finish. A curbless shower and linear drain added an extra dimension of accessibility to the plan. In addition, a balance bar above the accessory niche was affixed to the wall for extra stability. The shower area also includes a folding teak wood bench seat that also adds to the comfort of the bathroom as well as to the accessibility factors. Improved lighting was created with LED Damp-location rated recessed lighting. LED sconces were also used to flank the Robern medicine cabinet which created realistic and flattering light. The small eat - in kitchen was designed with functionality in mind. The clients needed as much counter space as possible for cooking and prepping, as well as a dedicated spot for their many cookbooks. Soda Glass panels were used for the backsplash. The clients are able to write down recipes, weekly meal schedules and notes on the glass backsplash - making for a truly functional and personal kitchen.
