We took advantage of the double volume ceiling height in the living room and added millwork to the stone fireplace, a reclaimed wood beam and a gorgeous, chandelier. The sliding doors lead out to the sundeck and the lake beyond. TV's mounted above fireplaces tend to be a little high for comfortable viewing from the sofa, so this tv is mounted on an adjustable pull down bracket for use when the fireplace is not turned on.

A hip young family moving from Boston tackled an enormous makeover of an antique colonial revival home in downtown Larchmont. The kitchen area was quite spacious but benefitted from a small bump out for a banquette and additional windows. Navy blue island and tall cabinetry matched to Benjamin Moore’s Van Deusen blue is balanced by crisp white (Benjamin Moore’s Chantilly Lace) cabinetry on the perimeter. The mid-century inspired suspended fireplace adds warmth and style to the kitchen. A tile covered range hood blends the ventilation into the walls. Brushed brass hardware by Lewis Dolan in a contemporary T-bar shape offer clean lines in a warm metallic tone. To maximize storage and organization, we designed and built floor-to-ceiling white shaker cabinetry, complete with dedicated shoe shelving, ample drawer space, and a seamless built-in surround for the front-loading washer and dryer. The black cabinets are offset with white trim and a mirrored back splash. Fun accessories including a found animal scull and wrought iron climbing men add playfulness to this wet Bar.

A dedicated coffee station with open wood shelving, quartz countertops, and a blue tile backsplash adds both functionality and charm to this modern kitchen.

A last minute addition was a coffee station niche at the end of the Kitchen. We created an open space at counter height for the homeowners coffee maker and mugs, along with anything else they needed. The niche also had its own dedicated lighting, which made it a popular spot to visit all day long.

Given the clients’ fondness for entertaining, we incorporated a bar area and a dedicated coffee station in the kitchen. These new features complemented the overall design, making it functional and stylish for socializing.

This well-designed mudroom combines functionality and pet care, making it a perfect space to handle everyday tasks while keeping your home clean and tidy. There's dedicated dog washing station, making it easy to keep your furry friend clean and fresh. The built-in dog bowls provide a convenient and designated spot for their food and water, ensuring their needs are met. Alongside the dog-centric features, you'll find a laundry area, allowing you to tackle dirty clothes and linens efficiently. Additional cabinets offer plenty of storage space to keep cleaning supplies, pet essentials, and other items neatly stowed away.

Pull-Out Laundry Basket & Folding Station. This space is perfect for folding fresh laundry, storing cleaning products and the laundry bin in this pull-out is super easy to throw dirty clothes from the week.
