Inspiration for an eclectic home design remodel in Chicago

This amazing home features a backyard patio and pool area with a spectacular custom pool with many features including island which feature sitting areas and fire pit a spa as well as incredible slide which goes into the swimming pool. The pool measures roughly 2300 square feet, and has a deep end of 10'0". The spa is raised and has 12 therapy heads. There is LED colored lighting throughout the project. There is a 300 square foot zero depth beach entry into the pool with agitator jets to keep the water moving. There is also a sunshelf within the pool. The lazy river wraps around the sunken island, and the current in the lazy river is propelled by a commercial waterpark quality pumping system. The sunken island has lighting, a fire pit, and a bridge connecting it to the decking area. There is an infinity edge on one edge of the pool. The pool also has an in-floor cleaning system to keep it clean and sanitary. The swimming pool also has the ability to change colors at night utilizing the amazing LED lighting system. The pool and spa exposed aggregate finish is French Gray color. The slide that cascades down the grotto is custom built. The waterfall grotto also provide a thrilling jump off point into the deepest part of the pool. This amazing backyard was designed and built for a home in Bull Valley Illinois.

One of the design challenges for this backyard was Toronto’s 50% lot coverage limit. It would have been nice to have had a little more deck beyond the coping at the deep end to facilitate diving. Thankfully, the addition of a row of stepping stones in its place satisfied that need.

This estate is surrounded by the hustle and bustle of a big city but you would never know it when enjoying this backyard oasis. The aquatic environment was designed and carefully constructed to architecturally blend with the existing natural beauty, mature trees and rolling topography. The dramatic pool sits between multiple trees, nestled into the rolling terrain, and embraces the organic limb structures of Live Oaks. These limbs were carefully considered while designing this environment and fluidly divide spaces and accentuate views. The pools include an upper diving pool with grotto, large waterfalls, resort size water lounge, infinity edge spa, steps up to an underground slide and a 32 linear foot disappearing water fall. This waterfall pulls guest to the equally stunning lower pool that is connected by a natural staircase that elegantly wraps around the pool and stream. The lower pool is a shallow play pool where the slide exits, has ample seating, includes another massive water lounge and is designed for volleyball and just having a great time. This awesome aquatic family entertaining environment also includes a fire pit, outdoor kitchen, bar, pizza oven, multiple televisions, kamado style gill, many elevations, dry creek beds, artisan crafted hand railing, custom slide, elegant lighting, surround sound audio design, and much more!! Pool was designed for a volleyball net to be put up in sleeves within the landscape pockets next to the coping. The volleyball area is 15' square on each side of the net and both sides are the same depth. The right lobe of the pool is the deep end with a diving rock.

Pool is an all-tile pool with four kinds of tile - large format to look like steel, river pebbles on floor and walls, wood planking style tile on steps to match IPE wood on deck and jumping platform and glass tile for color. Pool is 10' deep throughout.

Fiberglass Swimming pool, Designer, installer, company, Lawrence NY 11559. The installation of this Thursday Goliath 16x37 fiberglass swimming pool was executed with an excavator, after digging the hole, a 3/8 bluestone gravel base was used for the under layer for the pool shell to sit on. The pool was then lifted and dropped in place; numerous adjustments were made before we started filling the fiberglass pool with water and backfilling around the pool shell. Sonar tubes were placed around the all perimeter of the pool to be used as future supports for the concrete slab of the patio base. On this fiberglass swimming pool a safety auto cover was also installed, the Goliath 16x37 is 3.8” to 6’8”deep with which makes this fiberglass pool a non-diving pool but it makes it a fun pool to swim, play sports activities and sit on the extensive benches and step that are molded in the pool shell by the manufacture. This fiberglass swimming pool was installed by Gappsi in Lawrence NY 11559, located on the south shore of Nassau County long Island. Due to the high water table in this area the pool was elevated, and many yards of fill were brought in to raise the property Grade. Fiberglass swimming pools are very challenging to install, starting with the delivery and due to the size of this pool 16x37 it was very expensive to cross the bridges and trucking it on the highway. 2 police car escort were also needed beside the delivery truck.The patio pavers used are the melfi limestone Vincenza pattern along with 2 inches thick random coping for the pool edge. These stones are exclusive Gappsi patio stone.

The nicest homes in Boulder County have high-tech, fully automated, carefree swimming pools and spas and Aquality Construction has built most of them. This pool and spa is the perfect example of automation at its finest. Using IntelliTouch with ScreenLogic by Penair Water to run the pool and spa from anywhere using the homeowners IPad or Smartphones, from the infloor cleaning system to the chemical automation and automatic pool and spa cover systems by Coverstar. The pool is 18'x50' with derpths of three to nine feet. With 1"x1" oceanside Tessera Custom Mosaic Blend Glass accent tile, 16"x24" Antares - Black tile at the water line, and CL Industries Crystal Stones - Baja Black Pebble pool finish. Custom designed slide, diving board and a four foot sheet decent waterfall by Pentair Water. The spa is all tile 1"x1" Oceanic Tessera Custom Mosaic Blend glass tile and is 7'x7' with depths of 16" to 5' deep and is fully automated including the cover by Coverstar.

The hot tub has a sheer waterfall feature that spills onto a sunshelf equipped with bollard bubbler jets. The opposite end has a deep end and diving board. Hours of construction and design building led the Gappsi group to create a Thursday Goliath 16x37 fiberglass swimming pool with a 3/8 bluestone gravel base that was installed for the under layer of the pool shell for stabilization. Once the pool was adjusted and numerous factors were considered, the pool was then lifted and dropped in place. After installation, Gappsi associates placed solar tubes around the perimeter of the pool to increase support for the concrete slab of the patio base. This fiberglass swimming pool was installed by Gappsi in Lawrence NY 11559, located on the south shore of Nassau County Long Island. Due to the areas high water table the pool needed to be elevated, and many yards of fill were delivered to raise the grade of the property. We faced many challenges installing this fiberglass pool because of its size and weight. The delivery was the main obstacle because due to the size of this pool, 16x37, it was very costly to cross bridges and drive on highways. Due to the size of this magnificent pool we needed 2 police car escorts to the job site. The patio pavers used for this job were the Melfi Limestone. This unique stone is an earthy, multi-toned masterpiece; shades of beige, green, brown. and gray bring natural tones to the design. The stones are strategically placed in a Vincenza pattern along with a 2 inch thick random coping for the pool edge. The Melfi Limestone, and many other stones, are exclusively available at Gappsi. The stones are a beautiful contrast to the sapphire blue liner inside the pool. Plus assorted flowers and trees bring in pops of color and interest to the backyard area. To enhance the aesthetic of the Thursday Goliath fiberglass swimming pool a safety auto cover was installed. The sleek blue auto cover allows customers to easily protect the pool by simply turning a key. The Goliath, 16x37 is 3.8” to 6’8”deep which makes this fiberglass pool a non-diving pool, however, the pool can be used for a plethora of reasons. It's Olympic inspired shape is perfect for a morning workout swim, play water activities/sports with the kids, and allows family and friends to lounge on the extended benches and steps that are molded in the pool shell by the manufacture. This Toronto couple wanted a good sized pool, patio and lawn area for entertaining friends and family recreation. Since the backyard slopes gently front to back, Betz created a symmetrical design to function on four levels. The focal point is a 16’ x 36’ Gunite pool with the deep end next to the house. You can just walk out and dive into the pool.
