Positioned a short walk from the main house, the Bunk House has 3 bedrooms, a small kitchen, half bath (assuming use of the outdoor shower at the main house) and a small living area adjacent a water facing deck with a sliding door. The bunk house deliberately is purposed as a 3 season structure with open uninsulated walls reminiscent of the lake front "camps" that still populate the lake. A wood stove, provides adequate heat in shoulder seasons or cold summer days.

A residence designed for informal gathering and relaxation on a quiet cove near Acadia National Park. Conceived of as a compound of connected gathering spaces with adjacent private retreat spaces. The "village" of structures is designed to open and close seasonally with large sliding barn doors. These also modulate light, air and views into and out of the cottages. Carefully positioned to take advantage of the rich variety of views and sloping topography, the cottages have integral terraces and retaining walls to negotiate the undulating land-form. One arrives at the high point of the site and the long barn axis and navigates between the cottages to the main entrance. Once inside, the home deliberately reveals unique views to the ocean, mountains and surrounding spruce forest.

In creating a sanctuary, one of the most important elements is to create a comfortable and cosy bedroom. In the bedroom, you can find a simple and sleek bed frame and bedside table set in light brown, which is complemented by indirect lighting, creating a warm atmosphere for the room. Clifton deliberately opted to not include a mattress so that owners could personalise their sanctuary with a mattress of their choice or even a tatami. The design of the set allows for flexibility in the choice of mattress, while the colour makes it easy to find a match.

English Gardens & Landscaping With this construction we were intent on getting away from what I've heard described as "The ubiquitous dog kennel on steroids look" We deliberately did not use lines or levels, to give the stonework a settled with age appearance. Every material is thoughtfully selected, and every juncture between materials is carefully and deliberately considered. The millwork wall is composed of an interlocking combination of white and cold-rolled steel custom wrapped doors with a waxed finish; where they pull apart, the backsplash tile is revealed, thoughtfully illuminated by LED lighting.

Embracing the dual comfort of a bath and overhead shower, our design marries practicality with aesthetics. A folding shower screen effortlessly unfolds for showering and seamlessly retracts for unobstructed access to the bath. To amplify the sense of spaciousness, we've made a deliberate choice to integrate the shower controls directly into the wall.

The kitchen has clear views of the living room and outdoor living room. Storage, storage, storage, this kitchen contains thoughtful solutions for all types of kitchen appliances, utensils, and cookware. Careful deliberations on function, ease of use, and types of cooking are all considered when designing a new kitchen.

This dining area harnesses the inherent coziness of the bay window space. The family has chosen refurbished antique chairs - the mismatch in design is a deliberate effort toward "period casual" in the midst of a glorious full reno of the space.

The design removed the kitchen peninsula and intermediate cabinetry wall. Light, cerused White Oak cabinetry replaced dark cabinets, and wood floors flow seamlessly with rest of the existing first floor.
