Elegant and Stunning, are just a few words to describe the remodeling project for this Chantilly, VA home.
This Chantilly family, desired a colorful update to their outdated home which included wood type cabinetry and white walls.
Our expert team redesigned their entire living, dining and kitchen spaces using a masterful combination of dark hardwood flooring, gray walls, marble style counter and island tops, and dark blue and white cabinetry throughout kitchen/living spaces.
The kitchen/dining area is complete with pendant lighting, stainless steel appliances, and glass cabinet doors.
The master bathroom was also completely redesigned to match the design of the living and kitchen spaces. Complete with new freestanding tub, open shower, and new double vanity.
All these design features are among many others which have been combined to breathe new life for this beautiful family home.

Spacious and bright are the perfect words to describe this Irvine home remodel. The Burgin Construction Inc. design-build team worked hand-in-hand with the Blauubeg family, creating a fresh new look with more natural light and more space throughout their home.

Coastal, chic, glam.....all words to describe this lovely whole home remodel. My client loves blue and so we layered shades of blue throughout the house. Highlights of the kitchen include a custom glass backsplash, art glass pendants, appliances integrated into the cabinetry, and the gorgeous Cambria countertop featuring blue veining.
Custom cabinets in cream and blue create color balance and contrast. Functionally, there is a ton of covered storage along with glass display cabinets and open shelves by the sink.
The bathrooms both follow suit with serene blues and whites in the tile, vanities, and paint. The art glass sconces are a special feature in each bathroom.

Example of a mid-sized country enclosed medium tone wood floor and red floor family room design in Other with gray walls

2012 NARI CAPITAL COTY, FINALIST AWARD WINNER, RESIDENTIAL KITCHEN $50,000 to $100,000
“Crowded and disturbing” is how the woman of the house described this kitchen. A big peninsula with a huge range hood blocked the kitchen off from the breakfast room, a chimney style wall blocked off another side of the space and the doorways were too narrow. The result was a cramped feel with no traffic flow and a lack of usable storage.
To remedy these issues, the remodeling plan called for regrouping all tall kitchen elements into a low visibility wall, eliminating the peninsula and then creating a natural path through the space using a middle island.
Relocating the stove against the room’s back wall allowed the installation of a beautiful wood mantel hood and improved the work triangle. The side walls house beautiful custom white cabinets; one side housing the pantry, refrigerator and double wall ovens, the other the kitchen sink and dishwasher.
The center island features a mahogany wood countertop and provides plenty of workspace above and storage below. Contrasting with the glazed cabinets, the woodwork is a highlight of the project and a key part of delivering on the homeowner’s desire for a bright, clean kitchen.
They installed exotic mahogany floors that complement the center wood Island. The floors also had created a casual ambiance, especially against the soft lemon chiffon wall paint. The ultimate French country style kitchen was completed by furnishing the old breakfast area with casual seating rather than a formal table.

This challenging kitchen came our way at the same time as another similarly located Centennial kitchen. It was apparent that both houses had been built by the same builder: tight space, low ceilings, awkward arrangement, and poor building materials. Our client here is a single mother of three boys with an incredibly demanding work life. Once finally home at the end of a busy day, our client was virtually unable to use her kitchen. Cabinet doors were falling off, limited storage and workspace offered her little opportunity to cook and prep for her children, and the dark and low ceiling created an atmosphere that can only be described as depressing. Our client is also from Louisiana and has always dreamed of a kitchen that reminds her of home warmth and hospitality. Our goal was not only to expand functional storage and workspace, but bring in the southern NOLA appeal that reminds our client so much of home. To do this, we removed the wall between the formal dining room and kitchen to create an extended kitchen that runs the full length of both spaces. The back wall of what used to be the dining room is now the cooking zone for our client: we've relocated her range and microwave, and have created an island full of storage where her children can sit and socialize. We've also lifted up the low ceiling to create a tray ceiling that we have finished with ghostwood. The cabinetry is an off-white color with a hazelnut glaze that offers a more traditional, warm appearance. The island and mini work nook feature dramatic, handmade tin ceiling tiles for a dramatic texture and color. We've finished the space with functional quartz countertops and an arabesque two-toned marble backspalsh. The sinks, faucets and hardware are all in a matte black finish that offer a dramatic pop throughout the space. Little touches of Parisian flair add to this Cajun-French aesthetic and we are so thrilled with the final result!

The cabinets are Medallion Cabinetry and are described as Fletcher Maple Harbor Mist Distressed and Park Place Maple Eagle Rock. The Shoreline Countertops are made of quartz and are the color Kettlecove.

Distinctive Designs Woodland Treasure 51" Pod and Cone Cedar Wreath
Although "silk" is a common term used to describe artificial botanicals, flowers and foliage, Distinctive Designs' floral designs are actually made of materials that have more durability and do not fray or fade as silk does. Particular botanical components are individually wired and specially crafted to maintain realistic form, while the subtle colorations, shadings and striations in the natural botanical are duplicated to perfection! Cleans easily with a duster or dryer on cool setting; made in the USA of imported components.

The British refer to this room as a 'Snug', which describes exactly what it is-a cozy room. This small but dynamic room is tucked at the top of the stairs, sitting perfectly between the living room and dining room and is adjacent to the kitchen. Ideal for reading, sharing a glass of wine or a cup of tea with a friend. One of 7 original fireplaces clad in Prussian marble, adds to the charm. Beautifully complimentary is the mix of antique interior architecture with elegant furnishings.

The Home
Welcome home to this desirable ranch-style floor plan. Here, you’ll find a private, large, primary suite with a spacious walk-in closet
and a second private bedroom on the opposite side of the home toward the front. Centrally located is the great room, dining and eat-in kitchen with a large island. With our varying lives, enjoy the flex room space towards the back of the home. This space can be used as an office, storage or transformed into a domestic suite prepped for your craft room or workshop. This plan also earns merit with its patio options. Transform the included patio into the “Colorado Room,” a partial or full enclosure with multi-accessible entries...perfect for an all-season retreat. Finally, this home includes an expansive basement with a full wet bar and “anything” room.

The Interior Design
A delicate blend of modern elegance and minimalist ease, combined with sophistication and warmth is the best way to describe the Aspen’s home style. Bold patterns and dark woods mixed with light linen upholstery create a sense of drama throughout. A classic color scheme of bright whites and rich blacks make for a solid backdrop while hints of sleek grays and brushed gold and chrome metals offer energy to each space.

An Outdoor Kitchen truly becomes a social gathering area. Our most common outdoor kitchens are simply a cooking space with a built in grill and some expanded counter space. However, some kansas city outdoor kitchens also include a bar, whether raised, or counter height, a refrigerator, a set of drawers and even an outdoor kitchen with a kegerator and flat-screen tv. As a Landscape Contractor that merges old and new construction into the landscape design, it's difficult to describe, but people just want to spend time in the new area, whether at the bar of the outdoor kitchen, fire pit, patio, or covered porch. When a space becomes a large part of the homeowners' daily life, that's when I know a project has been completed with excellence.
For a space to be relaxing, it must feel easy. A quality landscape design must allow the space to feel like it flows from the adjoining room inside the home out. When accomplished correctly, the patio and outdoor living space feels like an extension of the home, or another "room" of the home and feels wrapped with fresh, low-maintenance landscaping.
Whether traditional or modern, simple, or decked-out, an outdoor kitchen becomes a wonderful hub for entertaining and outdoor living!

StreetSide Developments created a plan that they described as an exercise in brilliant space allocation. At 819 sq. ft. the home offers a bright and airy space with 9 ft. ceilings and truly expansive windows in both the main living space and bedrooms. Additionally, the building includes an incredible rooftop terrace which offers panoramic views of Edmonton's cityscape to the south and the prairie to the north!

They always loved their house – its shape and size, and the piece of land it sits on; but the interior left a lot to be desired. In fact, they hated it. They wanted it to be aesthetically more pleasing and to have much more function and flow.
These homeowners challenged Lagois to make it the home of their dreams, and that’s exactly what happened. One of the homeowners loves to cook, but the kitchen was dark. The space was difficult and frustrating. The new kitchen is bigger, brighter, and more functional. It now has all the prep space he needs and the task lighting he always wanted.
They also love their new spa bathroom, which is beautiful and warm and exactly what they had in mind. One of the homeowners describes himself as fussy and impatient, and at first he had been anxious about the whole prospect of renovation. He said afterwards that the team made him feel comfortable, listened to, and unconcerned.
One factor that made them so at ease with choosing Lagois was the “in house” aspect of their services. The person who designed their home, the one who did the drawings, and the person who managed the construction are all Lagois employees. The homeowners liked knowing those critical functions weren’t outsourced.
Another thing they love about their home is the finishes that are exactly to their taste. The homeowners are delighted with the new interior of their home. It is now something they love – both outside and inside.

Our client had an idea of what he wanted his shed to look like. He came with drawing and pictures and described his vision.

The word gourmet is described as a person with a discernible palate. This kitchen renovation was brought to life with aspects every gourmet could love: ample cabinetry, lighting, and a quiet nook that gives an air of grace. You don’t have to be a fantastic cook to enjoy a kitchen this fashionable, though. The storage options alone makes this design a winner when it comes to utilizing space and appeasing the product junkie in us all.
