This 2-story foyer is just a joy to view from the first floor or the second floor. A floating ceiling panel with lighting above and a blue balloon glass chandelier below highlight the special details in this beautiful home. The custom knotty alder wood doors (front and sliding barn door upstairs add a warmth which can't be described. The white oak character grade floors continue through the upstairs into the private bedrooms and baths.

"Laundry room" doesn't begin to describe this beautiful, yet functional space. Even better: hidden sub-zero columns for additional storage.

"Perfection" is the only way you can describe this Bath sanctuary.
Owners of this prominent estate home were tired of their master bathroom and wanted major changes to this space.
They wanted a Master suite with high end Spa look, marble floors and walls, large shower, open space, private commode area, his and hers vanities, and lots of upscale amenities.
The master bedroom, and adjacent seating room need upgrading as well.
Our staff has suggested a large double door entrance to enter this master suite, new lighting throughout, eliminating columns and partition walls and adding coffer ceiling, built ins surrounding new fireplace and marble hearts.
The old window was replaced, a much bigger eyebrow picture window and couple casement side flange given a magnificent view of scenic backyard
The old bathroom was totally gutted, opened closed shower area to a large walk in stall with built in bench and frameless glass, state of art shower system all part of new amenities
An upscale free-standing tub surrounded with marble floors and walls.
To create their individual spaces, now they have high end vanities with built ins, framed mirrors and marble counter tops,
His and hers custom closet system have lots of organized space, and new wood floors to match rest of master suite space.
Picture perfect is what this sanctuary spa feels like for couple and they can't be any happier to retire to this space at the end of each busy day.

The Masons Co/ Historic fountain restoration and renovation Arkansas, Historic fountain restoration and renovation Denver Co, Historic fountain restoration and renovation Nebraska , Historic fountain restoration and renovation Memphis TN, Historic fountain restoration and renovation Nashville TN, Historic fountain restoration and renovation Springfield IL , is a professional endeavor that seeks to preserve, conserve, revive, and protect fountains and water features, and associated ornamental objects, landscapes or other artifacts of historic significance. Thru history we have seen the design and construction of fountains and water features move in two diametrically opposed directions. From the aesthetic side fountain have become much more simple and have far less architectural and artistic features, alternately we have seen fountains develop as objects of spectacle thru the use of technology and the application of advanced systems, engineering, and components. Architectural fountain conservation describes the process through which the material, historical, and design integrity of a fountain is prolonged through carefully planned interventions. The individual engaged in this pursuit is known as an architectural fountain conservator. The decisions of when and how to engage in an restoration intervention are critical to the ultimate conservation of the object. Ultimately, the decision is value based: a combination of artistic, contextual, and informational values is normally considered. In some cases, a decision to not intervene may be the most appropriate choice. The Masons Co and Dionysian Artificers deals with issues of prolonging the life and integrity of architectural fountains character and integrity, such as form and style, and/or its constituent materials, such as stone, brick, glass, metal, concrete, and systems . In this sense, the term refers to the professional use of a combination of science, art, craft, and technology as a preservation tool, and is allied with its parent fields, of historic environment conservation and art conservation

If we had to describe this kitchen in three words it would be: modern, clean and functional. The brittanica quartz kitchen marries beauty and function for a look and feel that is truly the best of both worlds.

Sprawling and luxurious are only a few of the words that come to mind when describing The San Martino. This rambling hillside-walkout estate is bursting with spacious common rooms and thoughtful private spaces. European elements adorn the exterior, while a three-car garage promotes convenience. Inside, a more than generous great room features a wall of windows to showcase impressive views. Nearby, a large kitchen and breakfast room boast ample sitting and countertop space, not to mention an adjacent octagonal sunroom with fireplace.

The primary bedroom is one of my favourite spaces in this home. It represents the boldness in clor and design that you will see through out this home. The room is wallpapered in a lusturous wallpaper on all walls and a metallic wallpaper on the ceiling. To bring in some softness, an arched headboard custom upholstered in Lilac mohair adds color and whimsy. To bring in light is an abstract chandelier with LED lights that look like they are dancing on the metallic ceiling at night. The balcony out side has floor to ceiling doors and I’ve framed them in raw silk drapes. It is often described as bond villain chic by friends during a house tour.

This project earned its name 'The Herringbone House' because of the reclaimed wood accents styled in the Herringbone pattern. This project was focused heavily on pattern and texture. The wife described her style as "beachy buddha" and the husband loved industrial pieces. We married the two styles together and used wood accents and texture to tie them seamlessly. You'll notice the living room features an amazing view of the water and this design concept plays perfectly into that zen vibe. We removed the tile and replaced it with beautiful hardwood floors to balance the rooms and avoid distraction. The owners of this home love Cuban art and funky pieces, so we constructed these built-ins to showcase their amazing collection.

2011 NARI CAPITAL COTY MERIT AWARD WINNER
This couple lived in their colonial home in Burke, Virginia, for more than 20 years. Now that their children were grown and gone, it was time for them to pay more attention to their home. First on their list was to renovate their master bathroom. Tight and dysfunctional is how they described the existing space.
The homeowners always dreamed of having a whirlpool, a large steam shower and a private toilet area. Importantly, they wanted to use the latest products and materials to bring the bathroom into the 21st Century.
Starting with exotic granite and porcelain tile from floor to ceiling, the new design does just that. Then, a highly sophisticated steam shower using granite benches, a heavy glass enclosure, chrome faucets and a rain shower head was installed. Modern body spray heads are embedded in the wall tiles. The shower is complemented by a bubble, jetted whirlpool tub with granite surrounds.
A modern double vanity with vessel sinks, a granite countertop, high end cabinets and stylish faucets rest along one wall. Custom-built, recessed mirrored medicine cabinets provide storage for necessities.
In the end, the homeowners are thrilled with the outcome and never imagined that their old and dark looking small bath could ever be transformed into such beautiful bathroom.

This grand structure extends the existing home adding a covered entertaining area complete with see through fireplace, outdoor kitchen, ceiling fan, and pendant lighting. Words can't describe the beauty and strength of this addition with it's detailed stone work, expert carpentry, and towering columns.

Beautiful stone fountain is a favorite gathering spot for the local birds and other wildlife from adjacent open space.
Large, historic home from the 1930's overlooking downtown Santa Cruz. My clients are self-described "plantaholics" and tend to buy many plants, only to have them die. They have an extensive gardening area and low water budget. Our main goal was to make the overall design cohesive between various areas of the garden while utilizing interesting and unusual plant selections - a very fun project for me! We removed over 3,000 square feet of traditional grass and replaced it with several lawn alternatives. The first is a walkable groundcover that uses a fraction of the water of regular grass (and can be seen here in several seasons, one of which has tiny flowers); The second is a California native grass that grows long (or can be kept short) and can tolerate some shade. Both of these are excellent choices for clients with children or dogs who want a green patch without using excessive water. My clients love plants from Australia and South Africa so plants from the Proteacea and other Southern Hemisphere beauties are used predominantly throughout the project. Clean, flowing water is so important for wildlife and the beautiful stone fountain is a constant gathering spot for birds and other animals. My clients are beyond thrilled with their gorgeous, nature-filled garden and ever-expanding plant knowledge.

The Courtyard Oasis project encompasses what abarnai does best; remodeling a space with an emphasis on functional installation artwork. Our clients wanted a beautiful and tranquil outdoor space as a seamless extension of their indoor living space. They initially described the outdoor area as a drainage ditch, and to transform it into a Courtyard Oasis required detailed design work and creative collaboration. An open central patio, with custom trellises as a living focal point, was the starting point of the design to connect the indoor and outdoor spaces and allow the courtyard area to be divided into different zones -- for relaxing, entertaining and gardening. The abarnai team loved this project because they go to completely revamp the area and utilize a wide variety of design and building skills, including patio construction, custom trellis artwork, composite decking and stairs, a wood retaining wall, feature lighting systems, planting areas, and a sprinkler system.
