Shown Here from the driveway. This job called for an updating of the front walk, landing and steps, as well as a rejuvenating of the landscaping. The existing landscaping had been just sheared for years and all of the natural form of the shrubs had been destroyed. The walk was moved out a little farther from the house to allow for a larger bed, and the shrubs in the new landscape were planted far enough apart to allow the plants to be pruned more naturally without crowding. The old plants were removed and the hardscaping completed late fall 2013; as well as roto-tilling leaf compost into the beds, and the new plants planted in spring of 2014.

This dining room has varying aspects of New Orleans.
Immediately I had a vision for this room. I saw the far wall to my left as a statement wall paying tribute to New Orleans Design. We transformed a basic wall into a shutter wall using restored New Orleans shutters, some from Katrina destroyed homes and other antique shutters from around the city. The shutters were then enhanced using shades of white, cream and grey with different level of distressing and aging.
An antique buffet was transformed to an eye catching silver, gold and pewter metallic piece.
Above the buffet is a custom made 4 ' x 6 ' oyster shell mirror.
Upon entering the home your eye is drawn to this wall as it POPS!
The "tiara", our icing on the cake, is the large vintage chandelier.

This dining room is a beautiful mixture of several elements to create a New Orleans Inspired Dining Room- decorating New Orleans Style!
We combined an antique dining table with vintage chairs that were chalk painted. We upholstered the chairs in a pretty light mint fabric with a french outdoor patio scene.
An gorgeous mahogany antique buffet was transformed to an eye catching silver, gold and pewter metallic piece.
Above the buffet is a custom made 4 ' x 6 ' oyster shell mirror which adds the UNIQUE to this space once your eye moves from the STATEMENT SHUTTER WALL.
Upon entering the home your eye is drawn to this wall and the oyster mirror as it simply, POPS!
The "tiara", our icing on the cake, is the large vintage chandelier. The vintage "tiara" or chandelier was luckily grabbed at a local estate sale and transformed and rePURPOSED into a silver and gold beauty adorned with 6" antique crystals.
Details are always the key in all of our designs.

This brownstone had been left vacant long enough that a large family of 40 cats had taken up residence. Designed in 1878 and fully gutted along the way, this diamond in the rough left an open shell with very little original detail. After gently re-homing the kitty interlopers, building up and out was the primary goal of the owner in order to maximize the buildable area of the lot. While many of the home’s historical features had been destroyed, the owner sought to retain these features where possible. Of the original grand staircase, only one piece, the newel post, could be salvaged and restored.

This summer house had its original layout and design when it was first brought. None of the initial elements were of value to the client, except of the exterior part of the house. When going through the redesign and execution process, the entire interior was destroyed, thus resulting in having 5 rooms (each with a bathroom), open and closed kitchen, living room, and reception area. Since it’s a summer house, there has a be a pool, so a long pool was build parallel to the house, with big open terraces that give a clear view of the Sea, which is directly in front of it. The main challenge was that due to its prime location, the material that was used had to be made up of smooth stones, to withstand the weather.

When a leak destroyed this homeowners' kitchen and laundry room, she took the opportunity to upgrade to something more in line with the caliber of the home. We designed the cabinets to compliment a beautiful dining hutch the client loved, and combined a mix of traditional style and high tech Miele appliances to create this "traditional- modern" kitchen good enough for a professional chef.
The finishes include wood-look tile floors, custom alder cabinets, professional grade Miele appliances, Cambria Quartz countertops with waterfall edge, and glass tile to create the timeless design.
